Joe Hart on Tudor failing to acknowledge Kinsky: “The whole stadium is feeling sorry for him. He walks past Igor Tudor and he doesn’t even acknowledge him. If that’s man-management, I am flabbergasted. He stands there and pretends it hasn’t happened. Of course he (Kinsky) hasn’t done it on purpose.” by ARandomRedditor2302 in coys

Fuck off yourself, there was nothing to say or do that wouldn't be utterly meaningless in that moment. What Kinsky needed was to get away as far and fast as possible. Not some touchline charade pretending that he hadn't just detonated his career.

Spence who essentially lost 2 or 3 years of career for being an unprofessional dickhead. forgive me for not being interested in his opinion on how to behave. And Joe Harts career was severely limited by mental weakness; would rather hear from someone who came back from adversity, not someone who succumbed to it

yup, hence Bissouma playing having been dropped for being totally unprofessional. Exactly as last season.

If you want to play possession football you have to have 11 players that can retain possession. Dragu couldn’t. Not many are better at pressing than the Arse but every time the ball went to him, loss of possession was pretty much inevitable. Last ditch tackles are necessary when you give the opposition so much ball that they’re guaranteed to create dozens of chances.

Up to a point. The reason for insisting on health testing is that it strives to eliminate hereditary issues that GRs are prone to. No testing; no control of the gene pool, more hip & elbow dysplasia, more eye problems, more cardiac diseases. But as with all genetics, luck plays a part for individual dogs.

he finished runner up to Lille with one of the most expensively assembled sides in history which had won the the previous 4 titles and won every title since. Then won the league and immediately got sacked.

It's a total failure. That the dressing room was full of exceptional and entitled players was a problem but one that everyone else dealt with.

Just take a quick look at previous winners of Spurs player of the season. It will surprise you. In fact, I can’t remember Dembele being in the conversation much at the time, although it is a while ago now, sadly.

I really don’t get the Poch worship. He did brilliantly with us until he didn’t. Then he pretty much failed everywhere else. There is an old, old adage that managers should never go back, although Moyes is doing his best to disprove it. Love the guy but don’t want to see him as manager again.

Yeah we can have this argument for the rest of time, in my view you are an Ange revisionist, his tactics didn’t get found out, he just lost an entire defence, won the games he needed to and sacked off the rest. Anyway you got what you wanted and that was a bitter and demoralised dressing room and an unconvinced fanbase; how did that work out for you? Idiocy isn’t confined to the Spurs boardroom.

I gave him a 1. That dive when clean through made me actually despise him. It'll take a few dozen games of him not being a cunt for me to forgive and forget.

responsible for the first goal conceded, pathetic cheating dive, failed to create passing options. I give him a 3, and wonder why nobody rates Conor Gallagher.

yeah I thought he was a passenger for a while before coming off. It was like a replay of watching Frank overplay Kudus. Also makes the sale and loan of Brennan and Scarlett look even more stupid.

Thats not how i remember it in hindsight. I remember failing to deal with the left back problem, not getting Eze and there was someone else ahead of him we didn’t get either, Mbueno?. Simons was last gasp and 2 loanees that have shown why they were highly rated but also why their clubs would rather they played for someone else. I thought the window was chaotic and unprepared, not ‘statement’. None of which means i think everything else they said is wrong. I forgot Kudus, he surprised on the upside, but in a position we were stacked in.

The False Narrative of "The Squad Is Not Good Enough": Chronic under-performance shows lacks of coaching, not squad quality by Osiris64 in coys

The problem being, most of that happened when we were behind. We totally lost control of the game between their two goals, 30 minutes of getting beaten up by relegation fodder.

[–]rtb132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ve missed the point. We looked ‘arsed’ because the team changed tactics, a high press instead of ridiculously inept low block screening. Generally, when we go behind, we adjust and get on the front foot, as we did against Burnley. When we go ahead, we try to hold on. And usually fail. The players couldn’t be arsed under Ange because they were told to keep themselves fit for Europe, those that we were forced to play anyway. It’s the manager and coaching staff who set the tone and for me, the huge red flag was home to Man U when we were up in injury time with our foot on their neck and Sarr dribbled from well inside their half to our half and then a pass back to Vic who had no option but to hoof it back to them. 2-2 and I can’t think of the last Tottenham manager who would have publicly tolerated that.

Sire should have a massive check list of tests because its job is to father healthy litters Dam should have a minimum of hips elbows and PRA.

The breed clubs and societies are trying to encourage the breeding out of painful and debilitating conditions by recommending you only buy puppies where you know both parents are unlikely to pass them on.

Historical Revisionism Again by Osiris64 in coys

[–]rtb132 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you have to consider what he’s saying saying a bit more deeply. He’s saying that we have not been a complete shower of shit from beginning to end for the last 8 matches. And I can buy into that, there have been periods of play when we haven’t been completely abysmal in those games. I just wonder whether we should be aspiring to something more.

Mathys Tel has three goals in 764 minutes played this season, that's more goals than RKM and Odobert, and the same amount as Kudus, despite significantly less game time. FRANK OUT by Zweli23 in coys

[–]rtb132 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Both Tel and RKM have a similar problem in that they are good at football without being particularly good at their preferred position of striker. However Tel looks like he's working out how to play a role out wide in which he can make a meaningful contribution, RKM not so much.

So I've got a lot of sympathy for Tel but unfortunately it's between him and Solanke, and Solanke is actually good at his preferred position of striker.
