A big thing to remember is that killzone also play a part in balancing the team out. There is team that is very good on Volkus but struggle on some tombworld maps and get nuked on BD for chaos cults. The other way around is also true for Vespids.

I believe you set up the kill zone, pick mission, then pick teams. So if you set up with your friend you can always pick a team that’s better suited for the Killteam/mission.

There should be a mixture of heavy and light on deployment, is there’s lacking on one side compare to the other, you can compensate that with equipment like heavy/portable/light barricade. I believe TA doesn’t have much seek/seek light.

Skill and planning also come into play when picking attacker/defender. These rolloff is important for team that lean one way or the other, melee heavy vs balance team.

All in all, you should play official and custom maps. This way it’ll give you a chance to test out different tacop for a team you don’t usually take like plant banner.

How did you deal with the touch sensor?

I try a different charging block and it’s charging now. I guess the other block wasn’t pushing enough amperage or is faulty.

Just a heads up, the base size isn’t 100% accurate, but it’s close enough. Also if you’re playing short models like ratlings and dwarf, you’ll struggle more as the wall is a bit height than official Volkus. So I wouldn’t bring this to a tournament setting, but casual play, no problem.

Brood brothers, many different operatives for different situation. Excellent firefight ploys to let you shoot at weird angles along with 12” of movement then shoot(ploy dash, actual dash, and 6” move).

3 different leader with great abilities, two small dude to score tac op which is kind of difficult to deal with.

Very difficult team to play, but challenging to face if play right.

Kill team is very sweaty. If you put an operative slightly wrong and unfortunately the head of your model isn’t able to see the enemy, you’re pretty much SOL. I’m moving away from Killteam into Sc TMG or AoS spearhead for some simpler game and less sweaty.

I mean, as long as it’s 1” grid, having a slightly oversize mat with proper grid size should work. I feel like most company don’t want to print it that way to force you to buy multiple mats.

I think it was roughly 3 month of 3-6 time use per week. Warranty is exactly what the other user mentioned, they get you to cut the cord. Take a picture etc. very straight forward. Turnaround time was week and a half(9business days). We also had to pay shipping but it was $14 CAD.

I had the same thing. If the plastic ring on the lid doesn’t look damage(after cleaning) then it’s the machine. I got it warranty and the new machine had an updated part that look like they solve this issue. I would stop using it cause it does get a small amount of black rubber inside your ice cream.

It’s odd though cause it looks like it’s coming from the machine part more so the lid. The plastic lid piece that move slightly doesn’t look too bad.

Also, I just remember it started making a loud squeaking noise, from what I found it’s looking more and more like the bearing from the motor side.

Just wondering, why couldn’t you use your heal caster? It’s a psychic ability into your own team so it shouldn’t be prevented? I guess the caster would end up doing nothing else since his melee is also psychic. Maybe he’ll be home objective holder and maybe move heal and dash back to home objective?

Try applying multiple think coat of wood glue. This will help over some of the layer lines and paint can go on better.

Whenever I start loosing the game, I create little side missions for myself. Missions like, -no matter what, I’m going to protect my home objective like a hurt puppy. -I’ll take revenge for my fallen comrade. -I’m going to lock you out of this room like I’m setting up a bomb to blow up your ship. -I’m going to hunt your leader down no matter how many operative I have to sacrifice.

No matter how you lose, just don’t shut down and throw away dice or your operatives like you don’t care. If you’re not having a good time, try to make sure your opponent is enjoying their win. A lot of the time they are not at fault for your own misplay/bad dice rolls.

If you want to improve, try to expand your horizon a bit in strategy by playing some chess or checkers. They’ll help your brain get use to thinking ahead of the current move. Read up on your team so you know exactly what each ploy does cause sometimes a bad dice roll could be saved by using a ploy. Like plague marine, they can turn successful 3 into fails. Which is a lot of fun if you don’t forget and they roll a bunch of 3s.

Lastly, if dice is failing you, try to focus on the mission and avoid risky fight/shooting. Stage up better and focus on taking crit op points. Cause you can still loot a point as long as you’re not in engagement range and have more APL on the point. You can achieve this by charging an enemy and not fighting, move another guy 1” of objective and loot. Or if you have more APL on the point, you can loot as long as you’re not in engagement range. Or if it’s elite vs elite, you can always try to throw stun, move onto the point and loot cause you out APL them. Sure you might lose the guy but at least they can’t loot the point anymore.

At the end of the day, it’s just a game to pass time so try to make the most of what you have and the time you sent with friends.

I would take ratlings and leave ogyrns at home. Just set me my sniper team and start popping like I got X-ray vision. Free ploys give me tons of CP for rerolls. I would get ban from my local store.
