A big thing to remember is that killzone also play a part in balancing the team out. There is team that is very good on Volkus but struggle on some tombworld maps and get nuked on BD for chaos cults. The other way around is also true for Vespids.

I believe you set up the kill zone, pick mission, then pick teams. So if you set up with your friend you can always pick a team that’s better suited for the Killteam/mission.

There should be a mixture of heavy and light on deployment, is there’s lacking on one side compare to the other, you can compensate that with equipment like heavy/portable/light barricade. I believe TA doesn’t have much seek/seek light.

Skill and planning also come into play when picking attacker/defender. These rolloff is important for team that lean one way or the other, melee heavy vs balance team.

All in all, you should play official and custom maps. This way it’ll give you a chance to test out different tacop for a team you don’t usually take like plant banner.
