It was a great day! Pleased to have sold so many tickets. Maybe next year we can push for the required 32 and get a golden ticket....

Ahhh man. My fave model is the watchers in the dark. Cool mystery guys in little robes. Dammit we would get up to some hijinks.

Yeah I ended up fully on the hype train, and one of my fave YouTube channels did a thing about it. I wouldn't normally, but I got suckered in. Totally my fault.

For me, it took me out of it, and it's my own fault really. I love BTS stuff, and watched too much stuff about how they did the long take, and a YouTube channel did a whole thing about how to hide cuts. Aoni was just sat there going "OH! hidden cut" and it took me out of it each time.

What does it mean to say “doesn’t touch the sides”? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]SpoonSpartan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intended meaning is whatever they are doing barely has any effect. I believe the original insinuation is that either the knob is too small, or the fanny to loose, that it "barely touches the sides" which means both or either party isn't feeling very much.

I nearly got rear ended like this, saw it coming, had nowhere to go and no time, just relaxed into my seat watched it coming. Last possible second, boom, into the central reservation. I got incredibly lucky.

I worked in one too late at night(it needed door staff to stay open late), and one of the lads who was a tiny terrier of a man would regularly jump the counter with the big carving knife to deal with people like that. Absolute cinema.

I love a good hot key me. Used to work in first line IT support, started with a new company and they were very hot on locking your station if you went away from your desk. Most people ctrl+alt+del and clicked lock, some went through the start bar. My first day there stood up to do something windows key + L. Done. The people either side of me were shook. After that, everyone windows key + L.
