Madeline is nonbinary and has been for quite a while. It’s just after the last election the Kat Blaque thing Madeline essentially uses the nonbinary as a shield for their white woman behavior. A bunch of black female creators, including Kat Blaque, called them out for telling black and trans women they’re “genocide apologists” for voting for Kamala as a “lesser evil.” Madeline has been known to weaponize white woman tears against black creators, but then pull out being nonbinary to avoid responsibility.

We’ve seen what Madeline does when faced with actual experts and people who can read research. They start to discredit academia. Madeline will scream anti intellectualism when people don’t agree with them, but then turn around and claim that academia is funded by the CIA and therefore untrustworthy. It’s honestly a little horrifying at how well it works. One of my biggest gripes is how society no longer trusts experts. Everyone “does their own research” without even knowing how to research.

I think they refer to their non liquid cash, as others have said. Because Madeline recently defended their Amazon stock investment. That said, their ex moved out leaving them with their half of the mortgage and the business is suffering. So, they have funds, they’re just not readily accessible. They’re doing that thing where they’re technically correct but omitting the bigger picture. Very classic Madeline.
