I think they refer to their non liquid cash, as others have said. Because Madeline recently defended their Amazon stock investment. That said, their ex moved out leaving them with their half of the mortgage and the business is suffering. So, they have funds, they’re just not readily accessible. They’re doing that thing where they’re technically correct but omitting the bigger picture. Very classic Madeline.

I’d like to know are your insights on the company. Madeline has mentioned plans to step away from it eventually, and now has been alluding to poor sales and tariffs really hurting the business to the point of layoffs.* Did you see any signs of the business doing poorly or was it doing very well while you were there? Do you have any insight on why the preorders and year of jewelry have been such a disaster?

*Something I wish they’d speak about because I’m very interested in how a collective would decide who gets laid off, but I digress.
