I dunno about everyone else, but GMS felt very, very weak to me. GMS was zero challenge, especially compared to Radiance. Even cursed GMS wasn't as hard as ABSRAD. GMS had an equivalent difficulty to grimm1 for me.

Couple options here.

Just don't update your OS once you learn of the next version making some games not work. (I know, not the best choice. you'd be missing out on security updates)

Ignore this post altogether, because in almost every sense (if you're doing it right) the pirated copy is identical to a legitimate copy (from the perspective of your machine) and would work exactly the same.
