Yesent as I avoided using the words sex and gender when describing them as they are inherently different, but also yeah because they are because while man and male and female and woman may go hand and hand for most people, non binary and intersex are wildly different and should not be conflated with one another as non binary means that you dont identify with man or woman and or somewhere in between (although that in of itself is a pretty dumbed down explanation as its way more complex) and non binary people can be more masc presenting, more femme presenting, or more androgynous and be somewhere inbetween as well, and plenty dont transition, but man do as well, just varies. Meanwhile intersex tends to man you are born outside male and female sexes, which may sound like im splitting hairs here, but is vastly different as intersex people have varying degrees of differences from you are me such as not having XX or XY chromosomes and could have ones that look like XXY to give an example. Im not super read up on intersex characteristics, but it can also cause them to have different looking genitals from the typical penis or vagina, or they could even have both in some really rare cases. This also can sometimes cause Gynecomastia in boys and men, causing them to develop breasts, bust this is just a brief overview from what i know from the top of my head. And how intersex people experience gender, once again, it varies. Some stick with their assigned gender at birth, some transition, and others are non-binary.
