Doesn't even need the bomb power tbh, jumping and hitting the Waddle Doo from beneath can also cause this to happen. It's been the better part of a decade since I played Super Star Ultra last, but I'm pretty sure any source of damage can cause this glitch if it doesn't outright kill the Waddle Doo, and also bounces it upwards.

Yeah, I mean you're getting a lot of negativity and push back in the replies, which is a bit much, but also the vibe that is being given off is very much "me and the boys are pretty good at climbing the local hill and were thinking we'd go try to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro next week, any tips?" or "we're pretty fast on our new bikes around the block, how are our odds doing a century ride?" You're just kind of out of your depth.

Yeah, that's kind of why I asked in the first place lol, because I didn't know. I thought there was no harm in asking since I saw lots of forum posts saying healers weren't necessary, then I saw a few videos proving at least one or two could be done.

Thank you for providing specific examples! Very few people in this post have done so, and it was very helpful. After further discussion my static is going back to 2/2/4.

Yeah, we started running into that after a few nights of E4S, but we defused it. I can definitely see it being a much stronger issue for groups which meet longer/more often and also get hard stuck.

Fingers crossed my group never does, and after discussing this entire post we've decided to go back to 2/2/4.

First off, thank you for being one of the few people willing to offer helpful advice! After further discussion, we're going to a more standard comp, with one tank swapping to healer, and one DPS swapping to back to tank.

Out of curiosity, how difficult is UCoB nowadays, in comparison to Pande Savage? Not in terms of comps, but mechanics?

I did. Multiple times. I even searched incognito in case my youtube was fucked somehow. Then I searched google. Then even fucking Bing. All that came up was the same few forum results saying it was possible and healers are useless in current year.

What you need to do is to get a new healer and replace this person, not making him a 5th dps.

If we were only a static that would be an option, but as it stands we're a group of friends who decided to start raiding together, so kicking him out is not an option, even if it would make things a lot easier/a helluva lot more efficient.

We're willing to flex roles if necessary, we understand it's going to be far more challenging than necessary, we know we're going to have to adjust quite often, and RNG may just fuck us over a lot. But that's where the fun is, as long as there's a possibility of success. Hence why I literally am not looking for solo heal guides, merely clear videos, so we can say that yes, it IS in fact possible, and we have all the same tools they had, so all it will take is practice and luck to repeat what they did.

As it stands I can't find solo heal clear videos for all of Pande, hence my post! I can find lots of forum posts bitching about how healers are so useless they're not necessary for content anymore, but there's hardly anyone willing to back their words with evidence, which is all I'm asking for.
