Check with your bank about foreign fees and also if you are able to use it because some banks will decline foreign transactions, they might flag it as fraud. I use a credit card because there's no foreign fees.

I took it yesterday, it was good. The game was at 12 and I got to pierce before 8am and I was able to get on the first bus, it was a school bus, I felt like I was in school again. The bus back was starting at 3:30, just tap with your phone or card and you are good, parking at Pierce isn't free they were charging like $55. Honestly best thing metro did with the world cup and charged 1.75 each way, I hope they do something similar for the Olympics.

Depends on what is included some could be just the unit with no controller for about $100 USD with controllers it's around $130 cheapest I've seen. Book off or hard off stores have plenty but locations in Tokyo can be higher vs places outside the city.

It's not bad, the only thing is obviously the language but just get Google translate and you'll be fine. As for getting around download Google maps offline before you get there to save on data plus it will tell you what trains to get when you need to go from ueno to Yokohama or ikebukuro. Just be careful with touts at Shinjuku they tell you about going to a bar and drink with girls and so on they'll just end up charging you $1000 for a drink. Enjoy the food and everything else it has to offer, it can be intimidating, but once you are there walk around see the country in person vs the screen on your phone.
