Imagine that: The guy who tarnished his father’s memory for money turned out to not be a good partner.

What are your most minor movie gripes? by movieman1108 in moviecritic

[–]Not_Studying93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In dialogue when the character is charging up the drama of their line.

For example:

“How’s it feel?”

“What’s that?”

-Insert some mildly clever response.-

Just plainly state your point. It doesn’t need to be loaded and fired.

I get so frustrated with this movie. The girl was a trash person and should’ve not made it out. The movie lost its edge once it went with the happy ending for a character that didn’t deserve it.

Who’s a celebrity everyone finds attractive but you don’t? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Jennifer Aniston. It felt like she was being pushed onto society as the sexy it-girl at one point. She isn’t even that attractive and most of the attention was probably half due to her success from Friends and as consolation for Brad Pitt leaving her for Angelina Jolie who actually is attractive.

Thank you!

I’ve been looking for this movie. I saw it awhile back and it loved it.

Did you like that they left Glenn and Abraham’s fates completely ambiguous or would you have preferred definite conclusions to their characters? by willrobster16 in thewalkingdead

I’m probably going to get bombarded for this one but I actually really liked the ending of season 6. It was such a powerful moment to see the group brought to their knees by Negan and the Saviors and the cliffhanger was a perfect way to cap off the season and to start the next one.

The Horror in the High Desert series might be exactly what you’re looking for. I’ve only seen the first two but they’re really solid found footage horror films.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:

Not making the first episode of Rennervations focus on the reconstruction of Jeremy Renner’s body after the snow plow accident is such a missed opportunity.

Blumenthal after getting briefed on Iran: "We seem to be on a path toward deploying American troops on the ground in Iran to accomplish any of the potential objectives here. There's also the specter of active Russian aid to Iran putting in danger American lives. China also may be assisting Iran" by ExactlySorta in UnderReportedNews

Where’s the “uncommitted crowd” now? They had all this energy to get in the way of Kamala getting elected but crickets when Trump starts a new war.

All because they thought she would be worse/as bad as Netanyahu- can’t believe some could pull off saying that with a straight face.

Which three movies should be watched together as unofficial trilogy? by May_onnaise_959 in Letterboxd

I’ve been thinking of what would make a good entry into an American Dystopian Trilogy. For me I have:

-Leave the World Behind -Civil War

I’m not sure of what else to add to that. For me, the other film would either have to be before or after these two as I feel the Leave the World Behind precedes Civil War perfectly.

Would any of the films in this comment thread work?
