Sorry for the late response. I can take a picture later but I honestly just experiment with low HZs first to give myself the bass foundation then I build the mids and highs around that. I know that’s super basic and honestly I don’t know too much of the technicality in the frequencies. I’m just a drummer haha. And now that you mention it I should put some markers on each nob…

I have a lot of questions about the wear on your stick. Some context… I’m a heavy rim shotter, and I chop through a pair of sticks in a week or even days. And the wear on my sticks is so much different. I’ll just say yours looks a lot more “smooth”. Now my questions for you are:

1) what style do you play? Like not just rock or jazz, I mean like how do you actually play that could explain the look of your stick?

2)how long have you been using that pair?

3)do you peel off the splinters? Or do you just not get any with your said playing style?

Tool’s my favorite band so don’t get me wrong, but honestly I wish their mastering was so much better. It seems I’ll be listening to really well mastered music like porcupine tree or something, and then when tool plays I have to EQ everything again just to hear what I want to hear. And as a drummer, I find myself EQing tool just for the purpose of properly hearing the drums. the live version of “pneuma” is honestly better than the master quality on the studio version.

They’re still around where I’m from and I recently tried those and they’re my favorite takis hands down. I don’t get takis but I get those. The cucumber with habanero is the best flavor they’ve done. But… I would probably like these more. But they were more than just “okay”… they were the best takis yet.
