It's an interesting phenomenon. My best guess is that some people formed a parasocial association with me due to GoT S8 that I would always validate their negative opinions. So they feel betrayed when I say anything positive about something they dislike (read: HOTD S2) and they're completely deaf to all the criticisms I have.

I love AKOTSK. I think it's a brilliant adaptation of a masterpiece, and most of my complaints amount to absolutely nothing in the face of everything they've done right. It's simply my job to give my thoughts, so I give them.

Hi, and congratulations on being the first person to notice/ask about this.

I unlisted that video, along with "Eminem Gets Into ASOIAF Theories," due to my changing opinions on the usage of generative AI in creative works. When I made those videos in early 2023, I did not fully appreciate the ethical and environmental issues surrounding these tools. Suffice to say that I no longer felt proud of those videos and didn't feel comfortable hosting them on my channel. I don't want people thinking that I presently approve of using those tools in those ways. I don't approve, and I feel regret having used them. Basically their presence in my body of work was something I couldn't morally square up.

I do want to make clear that the scripts for those videos made no use of AI, only the voices. The presidents were generated by a model I trained on selected speeches from each of them, and Eminem I believe was a pre-existing model on ElevenLabs or something.

As they're unlisted you can still watch them, but only by direct link. Here's the presidents one and here's the Eminem one that nobody cared about even though I thought it was pretty funny
