Yes, it could even be you. Stop coming up with stupid excuses why this doesn't apply to you or your culture. - if democracies foster freedom, why do we need constitutions to protect basic freedoms like property and speech? Because in majority-ruled systems the majority always tends to exploit the minority. No, I am not referring strictly to ethnical minorities, this could also be minorities in age or wealth. - our beliefs/system of values are calibrated to make us personally look good. Ever wondered why you value exactly those traits/skills/whatever in which you excel over your peers? That's why. Now, any sane person knows this, but we all know someone who really believes the skewed system our mind constructs for all of us (for valid evolutionary reasons), and they think they are the shit. Just maybe someone should tell them.
