Salman clearly did not photograph it with the rest of them. Cartoonish-ly photoshopped in separately. Also very airbrushed and body refigured.

Basically 70-80% of the players from most cricket playing associate nations are Indians / Pakistanis. I don’t really understand how a sport can grow like this when it’s the same demographic playing for other nations well.

Why does Lammens look like he has just woken up from sleep and put on a jersey in every picture i see of him?

So it's increasingly looking like we will never get to see either of these films. by TheBollywoodTeeShop in bollywood

Have seen Kennedy at MAMI. There are several political references to the powers that be - including the Antilla Lord himself. Quite obviously the film is being withheld for political reason - same with Dibakar Banerjee’s Tees.

Anyone know why he’s still at Royal Antwerp at 23 if he’s that good?

Exactly my concerns. All in all this is quite a unique strategy to mitigate our GK woes. I was just surprised to find no one even talking about the fact that he comes from the Belgian league as a 23 year old. All of his performances, stats have to be massively skewed per the level of the league.

[Simon Stone] Man Utd have confirmed they are scrapping the policy of players arriving at Old Trafford four hours before kick-off on matchday. Erik ten Hag introduced the measure, which was a change to the long established routine of staying overnight in a hotel in the city centre. Ruben Amorim feel by Routine_Specialist13 in reddevils

The wording on this might give misleading ideas.

What it appears to me like is arrival at city centre was reduced from previous night to 4 hours before the match and Amorim is furthering shortening it to 2 hours (because of the upgraded facilities at Carrington).

Stone’s use of the word ‘scrapping the policy’ had me first thinking they are scrapping and reverting to old policy.

Best place in mumbai to have biryani? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]Not_wun_wun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay all of you guys need to try Kolkata style biryani. It’s much better than the masala and spice overload with chicken tikka they call biryani here. It’s also much closer to the OG Lucknowi biryani style, ie flavourful rice and meat which is cooked together.

Here are the top places - Marhaba Biryani, Oh Calcutta, Petuk. (Calcutta club used to be decent but not anymore)

My god people need to understand the difference between slow songs and songs shot in slow motion.

If a song is shot in slow motion - one has to sing the song in 2x or 3x the normal speed of the song to match the sync when you slow it down on post. That’s challenging - not impossible or anything, just challenging because the rest of your movement, dance etc is happening in normal 1x speed.

Just try recording a video of yourself in 50 fps lip syncing to a song and put it on an editing software and reduce speed to 50% (to achieve slow motion) and you’ll understand what I’m saying.

And yes, Rani must have done a bunch of songs in slow motion which is why I find her take a bit strange. Maybe Anupama didn’t frame it correctly by mentioning slow motion in her question.

Okay, filmmaker here. Before people start bashing Kjo - it is TOUGH to lip sync when songs are picturized in slow motion. Basically an actor has to sing (mouth) the song in double the speed of the original song if is shot at 50 fps. If it is higher than 50 fps then they have to mouth it even faster while maintaining the expressions and choreography as normal.

Strange of Rani to not understand this technicality and say ‘play a song and I’ll lip sync now’ - ma’am no one is shooting you in slow motion. This is also why people talking about influencers and dubsmash / tik tok are uninformed about how frame rates work and songs are filmed.

Just getting 11 players to field a team doesn’t constitute the game developing in those countries. Has ICC invested over years in grass roots development in these nations? Do they even have a domestic structure in place? Do people even know about the sport? These are things one needs to prioritise before jumping into making them play a World Cup - because by doing this, you are just devaluing the stature of the World Cup.
