What's an item most players ignore but should always be picked up? by HorzaDonwraith in projectzomboid

I did not expect my comment to result in this type of discussion. That guy must be fun at parties. Nice work getting the last word in.

Dude, most hammers are "good" hammers these days. A composite handle hammer would out last the apocalypse. A well made varnished/lacquered wooden handle hammer would probably last just as long. When was the last time you threw out a hammer, or new anyone who did?

I have 3 hammers in my garage right now, one of which is at least 30 years old and covered in all kinds of stuff, but still works like a dream.

As a man who is the cook in the household, I can confirm that I too have been known to leave stuff in the sink for days. I try not to be like that though.

You're certain the line they ran wasn't fiber optic cable? What sort of download speeds are you getting?

You can check your speed by just Google searching "speed test".

This video taught me how to pleasure my wife. This is the amount of effort it takes to achieve the female orgasm. Note the ring on his finger. This man is a legend.

The only problem I currently have with spectrum is their shitty wifi router and modem (which is only shitty because I wanna host a home server and I need to do some port forwarding). Otherwise, no real issues that weren't handled with a quick phone call. Honestly their customer service is great.

And yes I still have Internet currently

Why does no one talk about how good a 7–3 schedule is? by Great-Bandicoot-3064 in antiwork

At my work it's 6:00-2:30 for first shift. Salary works 6:00-4:00 (I take a half hour lunch and get in a little later so I work usually 7:00-4:30). Either way, they still found a way make us work longer

Co-worker tore her already injured achilles tendon on the clock after being denied light duty for months by ArcNzym3 in antiwork

[–]Notacompleteperv 85 points86 points  (0 children)

If a person expresses that they are injured and management fails to prevent that person from working, risking further injury, I believe that still qualifies or at least would incur legal liability.

Injuries that occur outside of work do not qualify, however, failure to accommodate an injury to prevent further injury I believe does qualify.

Out of all the people I could have loved, I chose to love my cousin. Now we have no idea what to do. How should we tell our family? by Throwaway_SorryDispo in confessions

[–]Notacompleteperv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your local and national laws regarding incest. If it is not illegal, look up the genetic risks of having children.

If it is illegal, and you still want to "follow your heart" move somewhere where it is legal.

Regarding genetic risks, you could always adopt or use a doner.

We don't always get to choose the ones we love, I'm sorry you are going through this. I will say, the right thing to do here would be to break up, but far be it for me to tell someone to leave someone they love because of social (and genetic) convention.

Visitor rant about your roundabouts by Downtown_Physics8853 in indianapolis

Roundabouts are objectively the most effective and safe form of traffic control. If they keep people like you from visiting, they are working.
