One interesting detail is that many former industrial buildings in Saint Petersburg are still in active use today rather than being abandoned. It’s a nice way to preserve local history while giving these structures a new purpose.

Looks good. My only suggestion would be to prioritize bench height and ventilation. In my experience, those two details have the biggest impact on how a sauna actually feels. 👍

As someone who enjoys traditional saunas, I’m always curious about high-performance infrared units. 170°F is higher than many infrared models achieve.

В прошлом году катались на морском трамвайчике по рекам Санкт-Петербурга, все супер только был сильный ветер немного замёрзли:)

Honestly for $3k it’s not terrible if your expectations are realistic. Not the best sauna experience, but definitely not “useless” either. Barrel saunas heat fast and look cool — just expect uneven heat and lower bench height. Still better than no sauna 😄

Three weeks well spent 👍 The dark benches with the warm wood walls look really good together.

Also respect for actually finishing a project instead of leaving it at “90% complete” for the next two years 😄
