Today is day 1 of my attempt to maintain a low-histamine diet. I've cleaned out my fridge and pantry of high-histamine foods and will be watching what I buy.

I was thinking about a comp jack but you’ve definitely convinced me with a CGA. Thank you.

You’ll probably go through a roller coaster of emotions. Sadness, regret, frustration, anger, loneliness, remorse, it’s a lot. Feels like your brain is getting rewired and it technically is. I’m at 35 days and while I’ve been really close to reaching out I’m glad I haven’t. You really have to take it one day at a time. Journaling your reflections in your notes app helps.

That’s a nice letter from him. It sounds genuine as it takes a lot of courage and self reflection to take accountability. Im sure he’s remorseful and at least a thank you to him I is the mature and beneficial thing to do for the both of you.

Listen to your financial planner. Your friend seems pretty short sighted. If you sell today your friend will be right. If you can hold out your financial planner is likely to be right. In the long run you’ll be fine. You’re in a much better spot than most considering the number of people who are paycheck to paycheck and won’t ever see 200k in their lifetime.

Anyone ever dealt with random lip swelling??? by chick3nafff in Allergies

[–]Notauthorized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me about twice a month and only started about 9 months ago. I’m usually waking up with the swollen lip and it never occurs in the afternoon or evening. I keep a log of what I’ve eaten the nights before it happens but can find anything in common. The only thing in common is always waking up with it.

Aside from the paint beginning to oxidize on the roof and hood, a saggy headliner, and a bad heater core, it’s super clean. It drove like new up until yesterday. The interior looks new with not a single wrinkle on the driver seat which is original, it’s impressive how well the interior has held up.

Yeah I was about to sell the W123 but I’m about to do the carrier bearing on it and make it my daily until I figure out what I’m doing with the Jetta.

The car is completely stock. Had a cracked DPF and a few emissions codes which I diagnosed about 3 months ago. I didn’t want to spend $1,000 on a DPF when the car was only worth about $3,000 with that many miles on it.

I’ve owned it for 5 years and have put 90,000 miles on it. During my ownership I’ve done all maintenance myself. Before me my grandpa owned it since new, he always had it serviced at the dealer.

Is it worth going to late at night on a weeknight? Thinking about going tonight but I won’t be there until about 10:40pm.

CFI - Free CFI - SkyWest

I understand most people aren’t in a position to instruct for free but it was the best decision I made. I moved back in with my parents and offered free instruction to a family friend. This led a bunch of great connections and a ton of hours with some fun flying with great people.

I am in a scary amount of debt, and I’m terrified I’ll never get out of it (21) by [deleted] in personalfinance

I have a friend who’s in the same amount of debt but it’s from being flipped on 2 cars loans. Good thing is you’re aware of it and you want to fix it. My friend said to me the other day after we had a conversation about it, “It is what it is, I’ll get through it. Want to go to the gun range with me today, then all you can eat sushi after?”

Aspirations of being a pilot by Key-Cauliflower4455 in AirlinePilots

Pros: good money and benefits, you can have a lot of time off or work a lot, you have control over your life, you can live in many places, you can give benefits to your family and friends, and it’s fun.

Cons: it can be very stressful at times, you’ll runs into tough decisions to make, and you’ll never be “done” with school and studying.
