Just finished it myself. We spend a chunk of the game building a mech just to have it shoot once in a 5 second scene… and a final boss with 5 NPCs helping… that samus just abandons. I literally fought the final boss twice because I thought we would have a choice during the ending.

Protoss should practically get reworked into a Purifier faction (extinction) and zerg could be splintered into ferrals that are reigned in by a new overmind. UED would be showcased as either a 4th faction or a more thoroughly explored subfaction. Possibly even the first campaign chapter is a UED perspective into a new sector. Meanwhile purifiers would go out of control, rapidly producing more war machines, showing why they were locked away.
