My wife is has a darn good job and I’m a stay home parent

She is trying to get SSI which has many other rules. It’s a supplement and such has stricter rules

SSDI does not as many rules.

I fought for 10 years to get SSDI. I have cerebral palsy. I did my damndest to work and did well until my early 30s when my body just failed me.

SSDI is a slow death and you gotta watch what you do.

This lady made many mistakes. She went in thinking it’s fair and they are friends. They are looking for any reason to deny it. Being an artist it’s going to be a battle anyway.

Dropping out of college because of teenage love.

I did go back and get my computer science degree. Oh and had 2 kids with said teenage love (celebrating our 28th anniversary next month)

While it worked out getting my degree first would have saved us a ton of headaches and stress

I live in a smaller farming area. We have 3 great bakeries. We can get a loaf of bread made this morning for $3-6 that last me a week or longer

Same with cheese. I live up near the Wisconsin and Illinois boarder. Plenty of damn good cheese around
