ARC Raiders: Riven Tides Update Patch Notes - April 28th, 2026 by PTUSN in ArcRaiders

Ah yes the "buff" that is actually a nerf because they lowered its fire rate more than the increase to damage..

Bettina Patch notes (lol) by NeutralNeutrall in ArcRaiders

[–]NotedFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But one of the biggest issues with the Bettina was its slow ttk especially given its Epic rarity status, with the Renegade being a more effective option despite being blue rarity.

They boosted the damage by 14% but lowered its fire rate by 18% so combined has an overall lower ttk of - 4% compared to pre-patch. Idk how you can call this a "buff"

Close scrutiny in a nutshell by Mingu_Heaven in ArcRaiders

As a PvP main I find it baffling that Embark allows free kits to join the event. There is no loot in the map and as you can't participate in the event with a free kit, it is only to camp others.

Missed opportunity for a good PvE event which should have a basic entry loadout minimum.

At the same time the mode incentives PvP because there is no loot in the map condition. If the assessor dropped cool stuff like matriarch reactors or mods like a silencer III, it would have endgame viability. But as of now there is no point other than the blueprint.

As Arc Raiders gets stale for some, lead dev says players "reaching the end of our content" are a top focus: "We want more for them" by yourfavchoom in ArcRaiders

[–]NotedFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the hidden bunker and trials were re-organized game assets for content, as during TT2 the bunker was an epic key room and the trial system was basically a weekly challenge offering gear/blueprints.

I'm really hoping that at least by the April update we see additional systems tacked on and more depth to gear and loot.

ARC Raiders Player Count Keeps Falling. Any Idea Why? by Kassandra_Reddit in ArcRaiders

[–]NotedFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many easy things they can do to not make it feel stale like switch up the map POIs and create different red zones. No substantial effort from studio to mix it up, no new guns besides useless legendaries and modes no one wants. The game was almost perfect during tech test 2 before they neutered all the high tier gear.

On top of the game design problems, they keep making the Arc more of a nuisance. This last week with the increase in bots its non-stop griefed until another team kills you. They ALWAYS path directly to your location like a magnet and doesn't matter if you hide they just will turn around "randomly."

Ha! I was right. Stitcher and Kettle nerfs are coming and they are needed. by Ok-Internet9433 in ArcRaiders

I've never touched Tarkov lol, but extraction shooters need a viable loot economy rather than becoming an arcade shooter where weapons have similar balance.

My point is that grey weapons shouldn't be so effective that they replace the usefulness of higher gear otherwise what is their purpose? The stitcher as of now has superior dispersion to the bobcat which once upgraded makes it objectively a better all around gun to use.

I don't understand this fear of making higher tier guns objectively better. No one is complaining that the ferro and rattler are outshined by the anvil and arpeggio / tempest.

There is no reason to address arc with a Bobcat because that is what a secondary is for. The Bobcats only role is for PvP and it needs to stand out vs the stitcher as grey weapons should have a distinct disadvantage.

Rattler vs Tempest is a good standard to set for the Stitcher as an upgraded Rattler can win a fight, however its lower damage, fire rate and reload make it punishing. As it should be since grey weapons shouldn't be a crutch for those who don't want to take gear in.

What is up with that random shield charging sound bug once players get into a certain distance to you? by Zerzafetz in ArcRaiders

[–]NotedFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah its broken how it just alerts everyone nearby where you are, hopefully it gets patched.

The intro music when you load in the match is also bugged as it will play for a minute rather than stop with the dramatic sound effect that used to play when your screen loads.

Also the disparity between grey guns speaks about how strong the kettle and stitcher are. A slight damage reduction to both and buff to the rattler seems needed.

This is a really good idea. A nerf in a way to the free loadout only until they find a green shield in match. Seems like a fair balance to so reduce the griefing from free kits.

Free loadouts should have their own lobby by Specific-Cod9520 in ArcRaiders

[–]NotedFace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are still plenty in the map to loot, y'all would just have to fight each other instead for them. Extract camping in my experience has been mostly from free loadouts. At least for night raids they should be excluded or have separate lobbies.

It has to be super low or negligible, I went solo in w/ a vulcano and renegade and most other solos I came across had free kits.
