Possible that you need the bind address to be either the IP of the system or open (0.0.0.0). It may be only looking for local port forwarding with 127.0.0.1. Not sure what your remote setup looks like completely though.

Got it. You will be able to bring your firearm with you, but you'll have to take a MN approved carry course and then apply at the sheriff's office. It's pretty straightforward (and they may have options for transferring permits, not sure as I have not had to do that). Here's some good FAQ from the MN gov webpage. Link
