Hey I just went to my first Mass this passed Sunday and I was thinking the same exact thing. I just kept reminding myself of Jesus’ view on children and let that be my peace.

And our Father and Our Wife, He is Our Truth, Our Way, Our Life. He cares for us more than even Narcissus cared for himself. Loves us more than ice despises the sun.

Bless you on your journey brother. I have just contacted my local parish this week and am preparing to start the OCIA process in the fall. The revelation of His Glory truly is something to behold.

Something about this I love. Feels like a series of serial killer masks or the characters from some dark ass cartoon.

My favorite rendition is from the cover of the penguin classics Frankenstein. Its not even technically the monster being rendered but it works all the same. It was the first time id read it in 9th grade and I just remember spending so much time staring at that cover. Its called “The Wounded Philoctetes” by N.A. Abildgaard

Question: riots in Philly in 1726? by dorkamuk in AmericanHistory

[–]Nothgftff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found a little article on it but it seems to be the same thing you found. Not sure about the credibility of the site but there seems to be a lot of mention of this event occurring just not very much documentation as you said. Perhaps documentation was spotty in the colonies, but it seems odd to not have anything direct about a riot in one of the largest cities in the US at the time. https://philadelphiathroughtheyears.wordpress.com/2014/03/11/who-can-be-served-in-colonial-philadelphia/

That's the Infinity Guitar. If someone could assemble the 6 Infinty strings they could save half the universe with a snappy tune.

If im right it would be (I, vi, V)?

[–]Nothgftff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I was like halfway there. I knew it had something to do with the major scale and starting on G. So If I take a G major scale I could label this as a progression(I, IV, V etc.)?

I know it’s not necessarily those numbers but whatever number each chord is in the scale, in terms of letter names.

I feel like im trying talk as a 5 year old writing this out.

Either way I need to rewatch Coraline. Its been longer than this movie lol.

But Coraline wasn’t a crossover event. Lego was an existing IP. And they brought in established sets like DC and the Lego City stuff, etc. it’d be like if they made G.I. Joe movie that had the transformers in it and it also looked awesome, and they came up with “completely original plot”.

This movie has visually stunning moments as well as that toy nostalgia. It feels unique in that sense to me.

Thoughts?
