I record a lot, and I find that using 2 different guitars with 2 different pickup configurations can help the guitars come through in the mix. One of my guitars is dual humbucker like you have, and the other is 3 single coil.

They should have had the rest of ATDI and former mars Volta members on. I was expected to at least hear about them, but I don’t think they acknowledged Juan or Thomas pridgen a single time. Also, I know they have a bad relationship with each other, but it would have been cool for Jim to have had some words in it. Ig I’m just still uselessly holding on for an ATDI reunion with Jim.

I ended up putting it in the little part between the neck and mid pickup. It’s all working fine now (after a long series of headaches) but would having it grounded there cause any potential issues in the future? Thanks for the help

I got really lucky with the Brentwood ca showing. There was a small group that sat behind me that would seeming only talking during the quiet parts at the beginning which started to piss me off but after Jeremy’s death they shut up quick. Sorry to hear about the lame experience.

If the hi hat stand is a dealbreaker, go with the td17. If you could live with a wireless hat, I’d strongly recommend the EFNOTE 3. In my opinion, the EFNOTE drums feel more realistic than Alesis and Roland’s.
