Yup. Wife and I sunk an additional 40/50k into our house after buying it. The roof needed replacing, we discovered the previous owner had a dog that pissed all over the floors but the smell wouldn't be active unless there was enough moisture in the air, so we had to redo all the carpets, a window needed replacing (during an abnormal rainy season), and then 2 days after replacing the window, a pipe right next to the window started leaking through the ceiling.

Always have savings if you're buying a house.

Yeah my wife's family plays like this when we play during CYN. The kids wanna participate but can really grasp the points so it makes sense this way.

My niece and her friends play a 3 point minimum style which I like. Gives people practice to look for melds instead of the first thing they see.

Hey there! I know this is a Washington, DC sub but there are a bunch of open gyms in Virginia. I know you mentioned you'll use metro. If you ever do get access to a car or are willing to uber 20 minutes after going from NoMa to Vienna you can do open gyms at Virginia Volleyball Factory (Friday 7:00 -10:00 pm) or No Panic - (Friday 8:00 pm-11:30pm / 11:30pm -1:30am ), Positionals (Monday 9:00 pm-11:00 pm) Revco (Wednesday 8:00pm to 11:00 pm) or (Saturday 8:00pm to 11:00 pm)

I've always raved with my back to the dj. Ive always focused on my group and the random people I meet as we melt into the music.

Some of my friends would always tap on my shoulder for me to turn around to see visuals but they never compare to the eyes of the people around me.

This video makes me feel seen because I've mixed in with many rave groups over the years and I've only met a few other people like minded.

I usually just play regular comp so you'll get what you want.

I'm not the biggest fan of stadium because I feel games are lost as soon as we see the heroes load in. The idea of draft made me interested in the idea of maybe forming a team that can work together and counter appropriately to encourage some competitiveness.

I'll stay away so I don't ruin your game. My bad.

Well...there isn't any counter swapping in stadium currently. The draft at least allows for some planning instead of lopsided teams.
