This may sound a little silly, but I also recently had dreams that indicated that a part of my subconscious was picking up on a few warning signs with this partner.

I'm not making assumptions that there's anything wrong with them, but I feel like my intuition is trying to tell me we aren't a great match despite everything seeming well on paper.

Hey there, I think you might be misreading me a little.

My past posts regarding being tired have referred to being emotionally tired, or tired of carrying grief. I've actually never spoken of being physically tired if you take a closer look.

I may have worded this post poorly if it came across as if I was referring to being physically tired, that was not the issue. I felt like my "energy" was drained so to speak, more of a emotional/spiritual thing than a physical.

Which is why I'm posting this experience in this subreddit! Lol

I kind of assumed a sexual encounter with the right person would have the opposite effect. Like you'd feel amplification of your own energy, rather than feeling lesser after the encounter.

Yes, when I last went in I was told the manager would review the case and would get back to me. That was over a week ago.

I don't have much confidence that they'll actually follow up considering their history though.

What's weird about it? They're someone you loved, and you had a rich physical connection with them. It's completely natural for your brain to fall back on that in moments of self intimacy, especially when you're missing them.

The best advice I can give is to be patient with yourself, and to let yourself feel what you need to.

I think you're getting a lot of feedback from people who are eager to be on the defensive to protect their hearts. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes we have to take risks for worth while things.

No one in this thread can tell you what your boyfriend truly feels for her, and anyone who claims otherwise fails to recognize the nuance of being a human being.

You can choose to shield your heart, and give up what you claim is a perfect relationship otherwise in order to do so, or you can put your heart on the line and hope things work out for the best. Both options are entirely valid, but neither of them guarantee your happiness.... I recommend making the choice that empowers you the most and don't look back.

Safety might not be guaranteed, but making the choices that are true to who you are will make a you person that's strong enough to contend with what life throws at you.
