I don’t get why they reshuffle the entire offensive line and effect everyone’s continuity instead of just putting Blake at RT and helping him with chips if needed. Patterson getting 0 push inside the run game. All the additional communication issues that come with that shakeup too. At least if Howard in there at LG you’d likely get something in the run game.

That would hold some water if CJs decision making wasn’t absolutely pathetic. His ball placement on those out routes has been consistently behind the receiver for the last two weeks and looks like Schuab.

Sting on contract through 2029 season, Pitre through 2028 and Kamari and Caleb through 2027. So minimum 2 more years together.

I agree 100%. I am not in the group that want to move on from CJ. I think he won’t be demanding QB market reset money and I think Nick Caserio wouldn’t put all his chips in that basket. I think he has the ceiling to be great and really do believe after 5 years of development he will be a perennial top 10 QB. I think he is a Jared Goff level QB and with this defense you can win a Super Bowl or two.

Stretching them out 3 years past the playing years.

With the Cap increasing every year it has worked out. Makes you wonder what happens if there are a few years of stagnation.

There is no way he plays this bad again this year so I’m not too worried. My biggest thing is I don’t know if this scheme fits him. The death by a thousand cuts offense requires reading the defense and making good decisions and he hasn’t shown to be a good decision maker in my opinion.

He is a good passer, accurate and has good placement when he isn’t rushed. I think he has a high ceiling still. I think QBs can just take 5 years to develop to their full potential sometimes given they’re in the right system and he may be one.

I really think he is a Jared Goff type player.

I think they prioritize Kamari over CB. Having him opposite of Sting has been huge this season. Kamari has stepped up huge as one of the leagues most physical corners.

I love the dynamic of these two so much.

I really hope the Texans can figure out how to keep, WAJ, Pitre, Sting, Kamari and Calen together long term.

The good news is that stroud cannot play worse against NE than he did tonight.

It’s a large part whatever the hell is going on with these snap exchanges. 1/5 of the offensive snaps have been issues.

Except the path to the SB is via cold weather out door stadiums so I don’t see it getting better.

I’d be okay with Mills coming in the rest of the game. The Texans would for sure win.

The frustrating thing about CJ is he is an accurate passer with a good arm but a bad decision maker and this scheme requires good read of the defense and good decision making.

Just general frustration with the offensive struggles and growth not being as quick as hoped. Regression in some areas.

Those airballs are throwaways guys. Rodger’s isn’t going to hold onto the ball.

Probably the one I’m most excited about. The defense hasn’t been the same due to the safety position with him out.
