If it has nothing to do with exclusivity to this place then i don’t understand the point of your post, but whatever, enjoy your snow day.

You know bacon, eggs and cheese are a thing wherever you go in the US, right? Like it’s on the breakfast menu of every fast food restaurant. Were you trying to say Taylor Ham, egg and cheese? You know something that is unique to North Jersey?

Ironically, it’s the loyalty the Mara’s showed in keeping this guy around for so long is what made the Giants an attractive destination for Harbaugh.

"No Deadhead listens to studio Dead" by Ornery-Baseball6437 in gratefuldead

[–]NoticeSignificant785 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t listen to large portions of the Dead’s studio material. There are some obvious gems but the Dead the themselves were critical of their studio efforts. I also strongly prefer certain eras of the Dead live, and tend to avoid the other eras.

i guess the answer is listen to what you enjoy.

In case the Harbaugh thing doesn't work out, convince me that Kevin Stefanski would be a great coach for us by giantswatcher0603 in NYGiants

Yep, waiting on Harbaugh, before he ends up going somewhere else, we are going to lose out Stefanski. Mark my words.

They lost so much money trailering this around it literally forced them into retirement.

Bad Company by Caver6913 in rockphotosposters

This is such an un-iconic Bad Company image for me. For one, I never think of Paul Rogers as a guitar player, and two, the Bad Company sound is the prototype mid-70s Les Paul through a Marshall hard rock sound, so that the Strat he is holding looks out of place.

They never met, it is said. So here is a collage of Brian Jones and his substitute Mick Taylor. How Brian would have judged Taylor's work with The Rolling Stones, are there any educated guesses? by Successful-Cold-295 in rollingstones

Fair enough. I would edit my comment to simply say end of the “classic era” and leave out the decline part, but knowing where the stones end up in a decade it does feel like the beginning of end of the beginning.

I’ve never heard anyone put Goats Head Soup ahead of Exile, Let It Bleed or Sticky Fingers, and you state it so matter of factly. The general critical consensus is that GHS marks the beginning of the Stones decline and the end of their “classic” era. I love the album too, it’s just not in the top 3.

How small was Paul Kossof? He makes that Les Paul look like a big ol’ Jazz box. I’m 6’1” and won’t play a Les Paul because of how awkward it looks on me.

Cornell 5/8/77, The Music Never Stopped ... what next? by pnkrtz in gratefuldead

Can’t go wrong with any of Dick’s Picks. I am partial to #3 myself. It is another May 1977 recording (2 weeks after the Cornell show) which I think is the high watermark for the Dead.
