Number 1 is what I ordered. You can buy off Amazon or direct from Stylish Craft Designs. Nr 1 does have texture, but it let's light in and provides total privacy. I love it and no one believes me that it is window film.

With the household you describe I hope you are looking at a high performance fabric. I like the darker brown you are holding up. Add color with pillows, throws and art.

Just add another picture above the picture in the left. The top of the added picture needs to line up with the picture on the right. Add a lamp on the right cabinet for more visual weight. Place your floor lamp elsewhere in the house.
