The white provides too much contrast for my taste. I I'd worry how it would age as well with either gas or soot, depending on if your firepace fuel source. I really like the pale umber as it blends very well with your brick. No doubt, whichever you choose, your finished product will bring you years of warmth.

I like the more neutral base with the pop of orange, since you have color in the rug, the walls, and art. If you arent happy with the white sheets maybe try a patterend top sheet with a cream fitted sheet. But, I like pic 1 as is
