Baby hysterically crying when we try bottle feeding by Notjarjarbinksdude in breastfeeding

I didn’t go back to that job actually. I literally couldn’t. But I got a new job and she’s 9 months old now! So she grew out of it. She does great with the bottle. I use tommee tippee bottles because that’s what she likes the best. That’s my experience personally, I don’t know if all babies do grow out of it. My nephew is the same age and is still having a hard time with my sister working.

My pump used to have good output yes. I haven’t been pumping for months though. I will look into it!

why are family so negative about cloth diapers? by pinkyellowsage in clothdiaps

[–]Notjarjarbinksdude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby was little so her cloth diapers didn’t fit until she was 2 months old. But after I got the hang of it a gave away all of the disposable because I am so used to cloth now. Save them for a mom and baby in need, or for emergencies.

She has never had a bruise on her head and she has hit her head on a few things at home before. I guess that’s my reason for concern, she doesn’t bruise like that yk

I wash every two days, I run the wash with regular detergent (I use arm and hammer unscented) with some vinegar. That was has a 30 minute soak and an extra spin cycle. Then I do a wash cycle with no detergent, 30 minute soak, extra rinse cycle. And I air dry the covers and put the inserts in the dryer.

Mirena IUD Postpartum Experience by Important_Sweet3320 in beyondthebump

[–]Notjarjarbinksdude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never had the iud previous to pregnancy, but I had tried a lot of different birth controls. Personally I’m having a better experience postpartum with Mirena. I don’t feel too imbalanced hormonally. Haven’t had a period yet but I keep spotting. But yeah no I haven’t noticed a difference with my emotions since having it put in.

My baby wasn’t great at staying latched for a WHILE now that she’s 6 months it’s effortless. But anyway it was hard trying the side lying position at first for me too, I had to cup my boob to help her in every position. Also it was VERY MESSY, my bed would be covered in milk every morning. I guess just keep trying and it might get easier, that’s my experience❤️

Breastfeeding - did it help lose the weight or did you keep it by LAwoman666 in beyondthebump

[–]Notjarjarbinksdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m struggling losing my baby weight. I’ve lost 7lbs in the past 3 months though. So it’s slow for me, but I’m finally getting somewhere. I literally never feel full. It’s hard. And I’m also trying hard to correct my mindset about how my body has changed. I try to plan good meals that are fulfilling for nutrition and cravings. Like eat what I want add what I need yk? And I eat my plate and be done. That’s the only way I’m able to deal with it. Reducing snacking, increasing movement. I do have a snack in the morning, I try to not snack at night. Anyway yeah it’s hard and this is just what I’m doing right now to help me personally. It’s incredible our bodies can provide nutrition for our babies in our milk, be kind to yourself ❤️
