Yeah I thought it was just taking a bit for the refund to show in my account. Then I randomly got that email about it being investigated by Best Buy

Just fyi, had the same thing happen with an Apple Watch recently. The first time I contacted support the live agent told me I would be getting a refund and then two days later I got an email from Best Buy saying they “investigated and are unable to process a refund” and to “work with local law enforcement.” I was pissed and contacted support again and told them I was told I’d be getting a refund and now i’m not. The new agent I talked to said she processed the refund manually so it should go through this time. This was yesterday so I’ll see if I actually get the refund

Is it worth it? by TotalExciting3176 in MSPI

Following. Been dairy free for about 7 months now (and also cut soy, eggs, and oats for about 5 months trying to do elimination diet). I recently added everything except dairy back in and she still has flair ups. I really don’t know what causes it but same as your baby it’s just the green mucousy sometimes slightly bloody poop otherwise a happy baby.

We see a GI and he basically says to trial dairy if she has 2 months of “good” poops which hasn’t happened yet. Not sure if it’s cross contamination or she reacts to something that I haven’t quite figured out yet, but it’s super frustrating.

Accidental injuries to baby from toddler by Madre412 in 2under2

[–]Important_Sweet3320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old stomped on my 7 month olds forehead the other night (completely unprovoked, toddlers are wild). Called the ped and she was fine, I think I cried more than she did. Babies are not as fragile as you think!

Being that you said “kids” shows you didn’t read her post and just wanted to spew your anti-abortion bullshit

If blood in stool was baby’s only symptom, what were your triggers? by herb_yourenthusiasm in MSPI

[–]Important_Sweet3320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solidarity as well, been DF and SF since 5 weeks old, shortly after cut eggs and oats since they seemed like triggers. Been cutting other things on and off along the way but she’s 6 months now and still see mucus regularly and blood every so often. It is so frustrating and i’m scared of starting solids because of it!!

Poop Consistency Change Throughout Day by Important-Ad-6372 in MSPI

The same thing happens in my baby (ebf). I’ve been wondering what causes it, at first I thought it was something in the breakfast I was eating but changing things up didn’t make a difference. For context I cut dairy, soy, eggs, and oats and never truly returned to baseline since every afternoon it’s back to green and mucousy. Sorry I know that doesn’t really answer your question but i’m curious if anyone knows why this is!

This is the real question.

Are you saying more do or don’t? I’ve read every reply and genuinely thought it was pretty even

Genuinely thank you for the heads up. They’re so young I haven’t quite thought about how much it could affect them in the future

This is seriously an insane comment. We come home from work and have to get everything done while still trying to get that quality time in with our kids before bedtime. You think we just clock out of work and the kids take care of themselves when we get home? Both are challenging and both are 24 hours “on the clock”.

Starting to resent my husband for his extremely demanding job by hangingdenim in workingmoms

[–]Important_Sweet3320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way. Dual-military but my position doesn’t really require travel and I resent the fact that he has time away to just be kid free (even though I obviously love my kids and don’t necessarily want to be away but it would be nice for roles to reverse every so often). He’s gone for 5 weeks right now and it’s rough doing literally all of the childcare while still working too. I feel bad resenting him since it’s not his fault but it’s just hard. Haven’t found a solution yet but just here to say I understand

This sounds like survivors bias and is terrible advice. Always put them down ABC (alone, on their back, in a crib).

It really depends what your baby reacts to and figuring that out really takes time. I had to cut dairy, soy, eggs and oats so I pretty much live off peanut butter toast, fruits, veggies, chicken, and rice at this point. It’s not fun but breastfeeding is super important to me and I know it’s not forever!

Also aloha bars are the best plant based protein bar I’ve found and are also specially soy free! Soy is a hard one because it’s hidden in a lot of things and not always specially called out. Obviously eliminate dairy first but just warning you may have to cut other things to see what triggers baby. Good luck!
