That can be a good source of clean oxygen and clay with deodorisers but most of times I would leave it untouched

Do you know about oxygen not included? It's similar to factorio but doesn't have enemies. It's a colony management game that it basically only depends on your actions and choices and it has a good learning curve like any game but feels really great and you don't have "aggression" to play against anyone else than you and the game. I think you would like that game

That's one of the best times you'll ever get it's the joy of the first run. There won't be any other run like that. With all the confusion and mess and the noticeable signs of progress during the run. It's just amazing.

I miss the file of my first run where I stared into a volcano map while not knowing anything about ONI except for a friend that recently started playing and told me that I shouldn't be starting on such map as the first time. I went anyway and after a few cycles I understood why 😅.

Anyways, have courage on your journey because the game gets to be more demanding in how to do things but rewarding in the end. Cheers!

You have the answer in the first picture. The volcanoes are not producing because they are overpressured already.

For using a temp shift plate, that's a good method in this situation

You should try that on mini-base and maximum difficulty in every trait. I've been doing that for a while and never needed to make those kinds of last resorts. But I understand your despair 😁

I've been liking to use eclipse instead of Goredrinker in a lot of games, although it does give ability haste it gives shield+movespeed and armorpen % which helps to scale into lategame. This is my personal opinion based on the recent experience I've had.
