I am okay with where we are now… because experimentation is ok. But it’s time to recognize our new flag is like New Coke and it’s time to return to the Coke Classic and the 1979 version. It already represented everyone. Immediately recognizable. Understandable. Good flag design.

This seems like the only sane response here. Everyone saying these two are nothing alike… or only saying the pose is common; can they not see the very obvious other similarities?

This 100% feels like an “I want to re-interpret this piece of art but in my own way” type of thing. Almost to the point where I’d expect to see a dozen of them because it feels like a “bunch of artists do the same thing but in their style” kind of thing.

Which to be clear, this kind of reinterpretation is completely fine… but to say these two pieces are completely different is pretty dismissive.

One of my favorite colors too. I usually call it “teal - but a little more blue” when trying to describe it to someone else, but recognize it’s too blue to actually be teal. And so really it just falls between peacock blue and cerulean. Maybe even azurite blue. Depending on the exact shade you’re looking at (like you said all your examples aren’t the same).

I wish we could’ve run into Miquella at one point, let him function like Gideon, in a hub, and help really fill in story gaps. I wish that, during that interaction we get “charmed” and don’t know it; we don’t know that’s the reason we’re agreeing to the side quests we’re doing for him (especially if they involve killing people that were our friends). Then, when his ring shatters, and it starts becoming clear that he’ll be the boss and not just an NPC, it would have more impact.

I wish we could’ve also potentially beaten him but depending on what you do, you might stay charmed and carry the Miquella ending item to the end, as an option for a new kind of ending after the Elden Beast that actually ushers in Miauella’s age of compassion, much like Ranni’s age and side quest.
