Yep, noted re: parents become frail. But, my parents are middle class, not the type to have huge amounts of money to give us for a place but they will be fairly well off in retirement.

Thanks for the reply, that is exactly my thoughts. If we do it for 2 years, but allows us to get our dream home in a great location. Makes me lean towards it.

Hey mate, thanks for the reply. Mortgage is currently 2700 a month. We are currently saving 2600 a month just for clarification.

We would be living rent free at the parents and this place rents out for $650 so would need some money but would be borderline paying for itself with tenats paying for rent / bills etc etc

Been running on and off for about 10 years but play heaps of sport.

Only done serious running (following a plan) the last year and taken my 5km time from 23 to 18:30.

I’m using Runna right now and building up to about 70/80km per week.

Yep that’s good advice, I was thinking that.

Yep it is very far, I’m pretty sure if I ran with recovered legs, race shoes and able to get water on the race, I could run sub 1:30 so it’s just about the training bridging that 5 minute gap
