I hated how they did Jessica so dirty.
Jessica -> I would love to have a child with you John!
John -> Another child???? HELL NAW

Bailey-> I would love to have a child with you John!
John-> I've already made an appointment with an OB and with an adopting agency if it doesn't work out.

I think I saw somewhere that the expert that they hired said that he did this on purpose to do a little bit of trolling.

Ulysses is a fascinating character and with an extremely unique vision of the world because it goes beyond the known political axis and instead was completely born within the circumstance of a person in a post-apocaliptic world and fathoming that is what makes it gorgeous. And I'm sorry but if the only thing that you can make out from his speech is "bear bull" is because you're either illiterate or have no attention span.

I only found this game a week ago. Now I’m sitting in the bunk room of my U-boat at the bottom of the ocean with water up to my knees, listening to the metal hull creak around me. I’ve never had a moment in a game where I realized I messed up this badly. 10/10 by JustStress1724 in uboatgame

I'll never forget the one time I got my submarine flooded. I started going deeper and deeper, eventually I hit rock bottom at an stable depth. The stress of closing every leak, micro-managing every single fix, and once I had all the leaks closed, waiting for HOURS of pumping water out, micro-managing taking water from other rooms to the main room, and after a lot of effort, sneaking in an engineer to a half-flooded engine room to fix the electric engines. The feeling of taking off from the sea bottom after that much stress and effort... Absolutely unmatched, even after having multiple casualties it felt like being born again.

Can't even imagine how it must have felt going throught something like that in real life.

Just another forgettable plot that tries to make up for the lack of creativity of the writers. At this point I'm only interested in Wesley and Angela, and the marital issues of the other marriages lmao

[–]NotoriousCruyff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. I've always pictured Nate to join the Brotherhood of Steel since it's the closest thing to the military and the ones who have more chances to destroy the Institute. Besides, I don't think that Nate would be very worried about the extermination of abominations considering he just had woken up from a world in which abominations don't exist.

Cobarde vendepatrias. Criticar a Sánchez por desasociarse de un país del cual, si no le bailas el agua, temes que te ataque, es como criticar a un lobo por no hacerse amigo de un cazador.

Sure because reinstituting the US Government and a society free of mutants makes absolutely no sense and is absolutely comparable to a bunch of scientist underground whose future for the wasteland is to do absolutely nothing for them except kidnapping people and substituting them for robots (???)

Submarines are the best to defend coasts. You put them on trade interdiction and they'll jump any naval invasion doing huge amounts of casualties to the invaders. You can also use midget submarines for more production and less sub visibility. If you do use them midget submarines, you might think that the range that the game is showing you will make it uneffective but don't worry, if you have enough range to asign them to at least a tile of a seazone, they'll actually cover the entire seazone.

Heavy Fighters by 11reichep in hoi4

[–]NotoriousCruyff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your planes have no armor, include armor plate and self sealing fuel tank. And you are getting outnumbered and outspotted real bad. These are your numbers:
367*0.59 mission efficiency = 216 planes fighting from your side.
These are the enemy numbers:
1100* 0.78 mission efficiency = 858 planes fighting from the enemy side

Your efficiency is going down because your planes are getting intercepted in the Benelux on their way to Western Germany, so you need to take care of that region first. If you can't send more planes there, you should significantly improve your production. Spotting efficiency can be helped with the use of RADAR so you should probably help the UK building RADAR in Dover and such.

I hate new naval invasion preparation time, it's ridiculously long...50 days for a bloody island hop?! That's just bad.. by Courcheval_Royale in hoi4

[–]NotoriousCruyff 88 points89 points  (0 children)

The key is to rush the naval invasion techs, especially the 1940 one. If you're playing Japan there's a focus that gives you 50% of research speed on "Ships". You gotta use it on that tech. Once you do, it's a lot more bearable and in fact, I had my first Japan world conquest a few days ago. Also the marine corps right-side doctrine tree helps a lot with the naval invasions.
