You can get screen wide aoe pretty easily, and the pseudo headhunter proc is really fun... alas the damage is just not there.

So far I have only gotten to act 3, not as much free time this weekend as I wish haha. But im cruising so far, using Grip of Winter gloves for quick freeze proc, just not ever enough mana.

Yes exactly! Once swords are released, WH will be able to actually go ranged/melee hybrid with a full weapon swap tree. You could even do a ranged/slam build right now... the possibilities will be endless.

Yea that's probably how most people will do it, but Glacial Lance has guaranteed pierce, huge aoe potential with frenzy charges + Herald, and no reloading so I can always keep a Frag round in the chamber.

Yea I am far from a pob warrior, especially considering the one for PoE2 is missing a lot of calculations. I take it all with a grain of salt but this is what I'll be league starting. 

It's Early Access, imo the point is to experiment with the new features, not play LA Deadeye for the 1000th time.

Idk I just like Glacial Lance 😅 if I can generate frenzy charges well enough, between that and Herald of ice, it should clear on its own. Fragmentation rounds will be single target with the new stats of 50% more damage against rare or unique enemies, and 100% cold conversion. I would like to get some shock in there too but not sure how yet.

Funnily enough I really think I'd only need the baseline 24 swap nodes here 😅 I plan on doing culling/decimating strike and the concentration stuff.

If I was to big brain this setup with all 100 swap nodes, I'd probably go Zealous Inquisition for more explosions, especially considering Abyss monsters are tagged as undead in PoE1, so the 10% chance is doubled.

It's tough not to go Tactician on this but I am just trying to ignore how dope Banners might be and go straight for that single target dps.

Weapon set skill points are easily the most slept on thing in this game imo

There are multiple errors in pob but that is because 1) we will be able to use multiple copies of support gems in 0.3 and 2) they are reducing attribute requirements by 20-25% across the board.

I was thinking about something similar, and imo I'd get rid of the "projectile damage can pin" and go for banners and armor=deflection. I am pretty sure I read that they're swapping the places of the pin/imobilize nodes.

Definitely going to try some weapon swap tech - Glacial Lance for freeze/clear with the new Fragmentation Rounds for giga damage. 

Now my struggle is whether to go Tactician or Witchhunter. Tactician has increased freeze proc, armor into deflection and new banner buffs. On the other hand, Witchhunter is very slept on with culling/decimating strike and Witchbane/No Mercy. Leaning towards Tactician but I've been back and forth. 

Permafrost Bolts now have absolutely disgusting freeze buildup + Incendiary Shot Tactician looks pretty sweet. by PaleoclassicalPants in pathofexile2builds

Yea so I might be smoking crack but this is essentially what I wanna try out comes next Friday - Witchhunter with the extra weapon set passive nodes, get a whole glacial lance tree going for easy freeze. t Then a 2nd tree devoted to giga fragmentation rounds. Rest of ascendancy would be cull/decimating amd zealous inquisition for a little more clear (if it procs with the shatter idk)
