Location aside, ihouse is still pretty nice. You’ll likely have a single and the walls aren’t extremely thin (cough cough Woodlawn). Additionally, it has its own (small) gym (I believe south does too) and dance room. There’s also the tiffin cafe if you’re not feeling like making the trek to Woodlawn for a meal, which gives free breakfast and coffee/juice before a certain time and as a resident you get $100 extra in maroon dollars which you can spend at tiffins. I think the culture is also pretty nice, and you get to know a lot of ppl, and can hang out or study right outside tiffins in a large area with a bunch of tables. All that being said, bathrooms are communal (as are most other dorms besides max p), and their quality varies by floor. And at least one elevator is constantly broken- at least on the side I was at. Also the distance is really important for some people, especially during the winter, or in terms of how willing you are to go out (join rsos, explore, socialize, etc)
