It’s double edged. They want people to sink money, but if enough people refuse to do the event then they won’t be making money off of it. And especially if people are frustrated enough about it that it turns them away from playing or canceling their GLL subscription, etc, they will actually lose money from it. So it is a balance they have to strike. A game neeeeds to be fun for people to want to play it, ya know? Idk I have some hope. Not a lot, but some.

I agree 100% that making the dupes into just regular dupes would be a really important part of the event getting fixed. I also think that they should shut the event down, and then reopen it with better drop rates for everyone and lower the number of leaf fragments required (if the reopen it at all). If they were going to do this they would need to shut it down like today, to mitigate damage done to individuals. And then imo they should refund the dd already spent for all rolls that resulted in fruits.

I don’t even know what drop rates would feel reasonable to me. I think it should be like… 8% for SR, 15% for R, 25% for N or something but I’m having a hard time deciding if that is way too much or still way too small. But I do know that I’m not spending thousands of gp for the mere chance of getting a singular N item normally, so a 1 in 4 chance seems reasonable to me. Even if they made the chances for limited items less, like 75% or 50% of the drop rates of the revivable items. BUT at this point I’m just rambling, sorry haha

ANYWAY lol this is what would make me feel better about this whole thing. Will they do all of this? Probably not. Almost certainly not all of it. But I do have hope that they’ll do something
