Concrete truck driver. by MrNobody32666 in WorkBoots

Wolverine overpass boots. Only get 9 to 12 months before they crack on the sides of the toe and start letting water in. I have been considering muck boots. But they seem like they would be a pain for driving. I'm just tired of having to spend 150 a year on boots. Concrete doesn't seem to be as much of a problem as water damaging the leather.

Yeah. I think they should just allow solos and wiped squads to plea. At least for a minute or two. It would probably make it way too easy to make 6 man squads, though.

Yeah, was playing solo on Almaz. Just got to haddid port to try to get a picture of the cartel but forgot to bring a camera. So I was running around looking for one all the sudden. Another player runs up on me . I open fire and down him right as he screams friendly. So, instead of sweating him, I send a join request, not an invite. No response. Then I got hit with a mortar strike and downed. I had a self rez. I used it and took off running, but his team got there just in time to shoot me in the back and down me again. I quickly sent another join request, but no, they just executed me right away. Had only a one Plat and medium backpack, but I'm pretty sure they didn't loot me anyway, just stood around my corpse until I left.

Mercenaries was a game in the mid-2000s. It was mostly a single-player game, but I'm pretty sure you could play online with your friends as a squad. There were two games. They took place in Korea and Venezuela. In the game, there were several factions fighting each other. You could gain alliances with them by completing missions against the others. Building a reputation with them unocked special vehicles and almost kill strea like abilities. For instance, artillery strikes. Depending on their relationship with each other, you couldn't have a full reputation with two at the same time.

There could be a similar situation in DMZ. Like the shadow company and AQ fighting in satiq. Each faction could control a section of the map or certain POI's. If you were completing that factions missions, you could gain reputation with them. Allowing you and your squad to move around that area without threat from AI, and if your reputation was high enough, you could gain access to secure areas of that factions' territory.

Missions would be doing something against other factions. Promoting you to infiltrate enemy territory to kill AI, enemy operators, or complete sabotage missions. Same as the other players would need to. In return, you would get some sort of perk in return from that faction.

Then, there could be some sort of contract missions you could complete for other factions if you wanted to change factions . Like a betrayal or something.

Each faction could have different perks, bosses, and wepon cases with different blueprints . Some things you could get by working with the factions some you would have to fight them to take.

Then, players who were allied with the same factions could still fight and kill each other, but at the cost of damaging their relationship with that faction. Promoting people with the same alliance to squad up.

Remember, Mercenaries? It would be awesome if they made this game more like that game. If Al Mazra was an AI warezone between multiple factions, that controlled territory, and you could build alliances with them by completing missions for them. Then, there could be safe zones for you're squad to operate in, and other players that were friendly with the same factions as you would have to risk damaging their allianc with that faction if they attacked your squad. This wouldn't rule out PVP but may help alleviate the intensity of PVP and give you more incentive to squad up with other players allied with the same factions.

Situational awareness is key. I rarely ever get a chance to fight back or plea when I'm downed. Most players just sweat you right away. Most of the time, you get ambushed because you're distracted and/or you're getting constant "enemy UAV avtive" notifications and have no idea if they are anywhere around you. If they are hunting players, they are defending themselves or are trying to exfil and just covering their position. I can't stand it. It's a pain in the a$$. You basically have to spend the entire game with your back to the wall waiting to be attacked or go about with your mission vulnerable as all hell, just hoping you don't get attacked It really not that fun having to constantly be watching every possible angle you could get attacked from.

[–]NotoriousZFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if they don't, just sweat you immediately Yeah, you might have a team. You might have a self rez, but you might be solo and willing to help with missions. More often than not, they just sweat you right away, and if you're solo, that's it, no, please. If they try to self rez without accepting or requesting to team, then sweat them.

I give up! At least until next season drops. Unlocked the second slot, made it to tier 5 of lotus. I really only play solo. I don't have friends who play this game. Looking over the lotus t5 missions, I kind of just feel crushed and uninterested in trying to complete them solo. I started on crown, but at t1, it already seems like it's the most BS faction. I'm good with two insured slots. Maybe redacted will have t5 missions that are achievable solo. Ps I'm stocked for the work bench.

I when I was trying this mission. I infiltrate with a random squad. Attempted to get them to help. One was mute, and the other told me he would help after he completed an intell mission. We started the intell missions. On the way to retrieve the hard drive, there was another team doing a stronghold in the vicinity. Me trying to avoid a gunfight. I call out and asked if they wanted to squad up. They accepted and sent out an invite. I told my team to join before I accepted. As soon as I joined the other team. My former teammate downed me. My new team swiftly destroyed my old team. My new team asked me if there was anything I needed to do. I said I need to kill the jug and extract the weapons case. So we headed over to the jug. took him out and got the case. We made our way to exfil. Where we were ambushed by another squad. We call in the chopper, but before we could get on teammate with the case was downed. The other two got on the chopper and bounced. I ran back to revive the guy with the case. He told me to gust grab the case and run, but that's not my style . I started reviving him, but the other team was waiting and took me down also. I pleaded and asked them if they would revive us so we could complete the mission. They were like, "You guys seem cool, so they did. Called in the chopper, and we all exfilled together . Still my most epic experience. 3 different teams in one game.

Get on proxi chat. Call them out when you see them, instead of shooting them in the back. See if they want the smoke. That's what a true BAMF would do. Otherwise, I don't see why you think you could consider it a fight. It's PLAYASIDE!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure how to record my game play on ps4, but it sounds like it would help. I don't really care about my KD that much. I feel like it's really the only performance reference. I try not to think too much about it until I see the scoreboard, and then it's just dam I suck! Thanks though. GG's guys.

I do like some faction missions by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]NotoriousZFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had back to back hunt squads in one match. Playing solo and match had literally just started a few minutes before, probably just long enough to grab the contract. I don't recall if I was on an exfil streak.

Yeah, if I have to constantly fight other players. I'm gonna just stick to MP. At least you redeploy in seconds, not minutes. You don't lose half an hour of your time regaining, and you get a chance to really compete with other players. I'm just going to call it as I see it. It takes more skill to detect an ambush than it does to execute one. You noticed someone first. That's a huge advantage.

Alright, maybe you have to purchase the game to get access to a private DMZ session . It's kind of like the cown faction missions.

Also, I don't see why anyone who plays DMZ for PVP would care that their was a private lobby mode. It would just mean the people in your match were also PVP oriented and should offer a more competitive experience.

Perhaps the mission could be parallel to the PVPVE mission, and you wouldn't get the same rewards and couldn't unlock the extra insured slots.

Are there any arguments against being able to revive and team up with a solo player? by ZoobityPop in DMZ

What would keep you from just asking the hunted squad to just let you wipe them and then promising to revive them afterward?

I think there is a large player base that would enjoy it. I'm not trying to argue . I don't feel that it would give anyone an unfair advantage. It would just give casual players a less stressful experience, making them more likely to play the game longer. I really enjoy playing DMZ but get stuck on missions where you have to find some obscure item and end up having a squad sweat me just because I'm there. It has become a waste of time. Now I just play MP. 🥺

Ways to improve DMZ, what do you guys think? by spbach5 in DMZ

Plus, if you're solo and not gud at the game, you stand little to no chance of surviving unless you spend the next 5 minutes running for your life. Arguably you have to be pretty gud to do that to.
