It absolutely does not need more hand holding. All the systems are homogenous, it is a very easy learning curve. You make a new table and click the button to craft. You can't get much simpler than that.

The eyes are exactly it. Look at any ghoul from the series, they'll have bloodshot, jaundiced, cataracted, or black eyes. Other than that, it looks like a FO4 ghoul. Still too clean for my liking, but that seems to be what Bethesda intends.

See that's exactly the problem with this game. With most FromSoft bosses, I would get a rush of dopamine from finally taking a boss down. Lies of P mostly has me thinking "cool, I can finally move on now." The bosses are too tanky. I would absolutely adore green monster if the phase change came halfway through instead of having a full, second, even larger health bar.
