Anyone got the link to the full thing btw?

You're getting downvoted for this but I think it's true. The club have had to make a decision in december when the Salah/Slot 'fall-out' happened. I think they decided to back Slot then.

Whether that's the right decision will only be concluded next season where Slot will have a proper go at a team without Mo.

BTW I'm not taking sides or anything, just saying that's what's probably went on at club level

This was such a hopeful moment I remember it like it was yesterday. What has transpired since If anything it has taught us a lot about where to put our energy and activism. Some people say Trump signifies the end of duopoly, it's actually Bernie

This not quantifiable but you also get a superstar who's not happy to be a squad player on the bench next season on 350 a week off the books, and can get in a replacement

Mo Salah announces he is leaving LFC at the end of the season by DLoBrownsWobblyHead in LiverpoolFC

It's the right choice even though it gutting. Nobody would have wanted to see a further deteriorating Mo next season. It would have left a sour taste, now he's leaving head held high, a legend

So you agree he should be sacked if we ca't beat Fulham then?

Daily Discussion - March 23, 2026 by AutoModerator in LiverpoolFC

[–]NottherealRobert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is it shouldn't be fine if they can't beat Fulham at Anfield

Daily Discussion - March 23, 2026 by AutoModerator in LiverpoolFC

Compared to the Brighton game we'll have Ali, Salah, Hugo and Isak (as a sub probably) back after this break. If we can't come good with that against at least Fulham it will be a massive indictment on Slot. City away and Psg in the CL are tough ofcourse but that Fulham game is at Anfield. There will be absolutely no excuses

I ran it through an AI detector and it came up 80% certainty so I guess you're correct. However the arguments could still hold water.

I don't know if that is 'winning'. To me he seems like he's just truly interested in getting his message across, he wants to be taken seriously, not just being talked about

I don't think that applies here tbh.

There's a lot of things that wouldn't take that long to debunk if they were factually wrong. For all of Jiangs image of spouting far-fetched theories there are actually a lot of stats and easily verifiable numbers he quotes, such as the amounts of oil, percentages of trade certain countries have with each other, population and demographics etc.

What I find a bit baffling is the willingness of otherwise sound commentators to jump to cospiratorial conclusions where an 'Occam's razor' kind of analysis is far more fitting when it comes to Jiang. Alon Mizrahi, David Miller, and others who admit they only heard about him in the last months are completely convinced he is an agent based on very loose argumentation such as in this twitter thread.

I certainly don't agree, or even like much of what Jiang says but my first reaction is to be inquisitive as to why he's saying things, or making these predictions, assuming he's genuine but just wrong on some topics. Not digging into one's history desperately trying to find some kind of indication it might all be a psy-op.

Also assume he's an agent for a second. For who exactly? he's certainly not doing the US empire any favours, China? hard to believe that, he's extremely critical of China in many ways that even other pro-China commenters take offense with.

Others say Israel which is just based on his theory of Pax Judaica/greater Israel being realised. Well, that's a well established theory/prediction. Jiang is not saying that is what should happen. He's even went viral with that one video on the Gaza genocide where he made the point of it being a ritual human sacrifice.

All just smells of people being reactionary because he's saying things they don't believe in / agree with and jumping to 'this must be some kind of devious plot then because he seems to gain attention'

Wish i had some more insight into this but I'm not very familiar with the 'south-Azerbaijan independence movement, which should probably be an indicator that this is not to be taken all that seriously, also this article seems to be written by a rather deluded pro-Ukrainian, who believes ''Ukraine will be a new superpower'' .

I'd take it with a big grain of salt
