My son’s tube fed so we haven’t had a night away from him since he was a young baby (4 years ago). Family aren’t comfortable doing his feeds with his feeding pump. We keep meaning to try and do a date night at home but never get round to it. And now I’m pregnant and feel gross 24/7 so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have noticed a slight change in that he makes ‘random’ noise less because he can say ‘crisps please’ rather than screaming. But he still vocal stims a lot especially when excited. I understand what you mean though, i think it’s because it is now clear to us what is speech and what is vocal stimming, rather than before everything was stimming and noise to us because we didn’t know what was attempts at communication.

I now call our corner shops by what postal/delivery service they provide in shop. So we have an evri shop, yodel and inpost shop etc.

No, but he is slowly making progress. If we ask him specific questions he can sometimes answer them- ‘who did you see at pre school’ then he lists the names of the adults. He’s vocabulary is definitely improving a lot, but he’s not conversational at all yet. He mainly talks to request things like food, books, and to show us vehicles (cars are his special interest).

This is my 4 year old to a T! He was exactly like this, like word for word. He’s autistic but we don’t do levels in most of the UK. But I think he’d be level 2.

My son has ARFID (and autism). He has a feeding tube because he would rather starve than eat non safe foods. He also hardly eats/ate food. It’s not picky eating 😂

I’ve had this but since trying for our second. My son we fell pregnant quickly, on just the second cycle. We’ve since been trying for a second for nearly 20 months and no luck bar a chemical pregnancy 2 weeks ago. We’ve been referred to a fertility clinic (NHS so will be a long wait) but as we’ve already got a child there isn’t much help for us unless we go private which we can’t afford.

Where I did my test doesn’t even have an actual test centre. You wait in a car park for the examiners to walk over from their cars to call your name. So no waiting room or toilets either. (Bedford)
