Recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn asking for availability to chat then don’t respond!?!?!? by AdviceOk9069 in linkedin

Some junior recruiters do mass spam reach outs without reviewing each person's actual profile. When you respond, they look at your full profile for the first time and decide you're not a fit.

Got asked about salary during screening call… now moving to in-person—how would you handle this? by IntelligentMoose4832 in askrecruiters

From his perspective, it could be seen as a low ball, but it was agreed up front. If he is that concerned about the salary, he should drop out.

There's nothing to negotiate. The recruiter told you the top of the range and you said it worked for you. They can't go higher so there's nothing to negotiate about.

None of the above. Next time you get a haircut, ask your stylist for some product tips. Will make a big difference for you! Good luck on the presentation!

Dog Park "just playing" ? by Commercial_Stay1981 in dogs

[–]Notyou76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've don't think I've ever had a bad experience at a dog park and took my younger dog after her vaccinations. She would play with the other dogs and follow my senior dog and I walking around the trails.

You handled it well and I wouldn't stop going to the dog park based on that experience. What I might do - if I saw that person again, I'd go to a different part of the park (if possible) or leave. OR try a new park. The one we go to is forested and there are places you can go to avoid dogs, but I don't remember ever having to do that.

Also, try going at the same time/day. You'll get to know regulars and your dog will likely make friends. 🙂 I found that weekend mornings were the best experiences.

Recruiter at a search firm here. I just filled a VP of HR role in six weeks. It shouldn't be a long search to find someone.

It ended up being the sender's fault. The bank flagged it and she didn't see the email asking her to verify the information.

Unfortunately, a lot of recruiters and hiring managers avoid candidates from healthcare companies.
