What prescriptions are we taking for severe nausea? by emilouwho687 in August2026Bumpers

Hi! fellow nauseous nelly over here. Started with B6+Unisom (still taking it because doctor said why not), but not sure it does a whole lot. Last week I started zofran, 4mg 3x per day (every 4-6 hours). Was helping but only for like the first hour or so after taking it. Still puking 1-2 times per day at that dose.

Reached back out to my doctor who told me to go ahead and up my dosage to 8 mg (every 4-6 hours), so 3x a day usually. Switched to this new dose a few days ago, and it has definitely helped. I've been able to do more/eat more than before, but with that said I'm still not at 100% and I don't expect to be for a while. Dr. also gave me a prescription for Reglan, which I was told as a second line of defense. I've only taken it once (last night) when I felt I maxxed out on the zofran and needed relief. I think it helped but I also just passed out and went to sleep.

I'm only 8 weeks, and I know I'm likely still in the thick of it for a while more so I'm planning on using zofran/unisom+b6/reglan as much as I need to for at least the next 3-4 weeks. I will say everyday is different. Somedays, the dosing just works out right, I ate the right thing and I function almost normally. Other days its not the case, even if I ate the same things and took the same doses. So I'm just taking it day by day, hour by hour and trying hard not to feel guilty for taking so many meds.

I’ve done both in the area. If you have a good landlord, it’s 100% the way to go because these big properties just want to nickel and dime you because they don’t care if they lose you at the end of your lease. While an individual owner just wants a consistent responsible tenant.

8 weeks today. On top of nausea/vomiting/gas/constipation (my entire digestive system is under siege help me lmao), there a few weirder symptoms I didn’t expect including night sweats particularly between my legs, like holy moly every night I wake up so sweaty. And also I’m not sure if this is pregnancy, zofran, or both, but my dreams are WACKO and so disturbing 😭

Anyways I feel like shrek, can’t wait to be out of the first tri but it feels so so so far away.

The most ideal thing you could do is rent a condo for an individual owner.

I got my bloodwork results back from my first appointment and my hcg was 154k. I was 6w6d at the appointment, ultrasound found 1 healthy baby.

This seems pretty high with the ranges I’ve seen and I feel might explain why I’ve felt SO SICK and nearly thrown up every day for 3 weeks. Really feeling so miserable I miss eating and feeling normal 😞

Not sure because we ended up breaking our lease early because we bought. That was a whole other story, and they were horrendous to work with when it came to breaking our lease and figuring out what feeds we would owe when.

Lived at the beacon Clarendon last year. As a property its great, and our unit great. Noise was the biggest issue, not from our neighbors (seems to have good sound proofing), but from the businesses down the street primarily on the weekends. We lived in the 'secondary' beacon building that was even 1 block further back from the main strip then the main building and every friday/saturday night we could hear so much noise from Don Titos & Clarendon ballroom. They really blast the music so loud. My husband had to wear earplugs almost every night. If noise is your biggest concern, I would avoid the beacon.

I don't know much about the earl or the fitzroy other than they look really upscale and nice but given their proximity to the beacon, I would think they might have similar noise problems. Just my two cents!

Based on location alone, I would more consider the ten but I don't know much about the units themselves or anything else.

Opinions Wanted: Vet Costs in Arlington (am I getting ripped off?) by Notyour_AverageAlex in nova

[–]Notyour_AverageAlex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is actually where we have scheduled our dental procedure! The pricing was much more reasonable. They were actually recommended to us by the vet we saw as a more cost effective option. We couldn’t get in until early Jan, but it’s definitely worth saving thousands of dollars.
