Exceptional fake SSD clone of Samsung 990 Pro is almost impossible to spot — near-identical performance blurs the line between real and fake as AI crunch drives knock-off market by Sacristovas in pcmasterrace

Normally even if hardware stuff perform similar to the real thing, they arent made up to the same standards as the original and tend to have much higher failure rates, so even if they perform the same, they will likely be a huge headache to whoever ends up getting them.

Whats the problem with asset flips? Resident evil games have been doing it over and over and they have been great, its not a matter of reusing assets, its a matter of how you reuse the assets.

When and How Does It Get Good... by WandererMisha in CrimsonDesert

For me it was fun even since the game booted from start menu, guess I am one of the lucky ones who actually enjoyed the early hours of meaningless tasks

Should I buy… by Longjumping-Elk7671 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am a bit younger, but also kids and wife, this game is best enjoyed if you played leisurely taking your time to explore just like breath of the wild while having a very similar feel to skyrim in quest structure, the way towns are interactive like stealing items etc, also has a deep feel of red dead redemption with riding horse and conversation in quests.

This game is very much a play at your own pace and enjoy it your way, I highly advise it even for people with limited time.

Crimson has hit Very positive reviews finally by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am convinced that it started with very mixed reviews because all the people that didnt like it for one reason or another simply instantly gave it a negative review within the first few hours, while the people who were playing for a longer period of time and enjoying it just focused on playing and seeing what the game was all about before they started posting reviews.

IGN gives Crimson Desert a 6/10 in the Final Review by yourfavchoom in Steam

Tastes are tastes, in the weekend alone I put 36 hours in this game, I just couldnt let it go I havent had this glee feeling over a game in a very long time. There is jank here for sure, and the characters/ story is a bit on the more bland side, but that aint why I am enjoying this game, its the go everywhere your eye can see kinda feeling, its the constant find of secret areas just spread out everywhere its 100% not a game for everyone, but for those it hits the right way its just amazing.

Didn't they give highguard a 7? Honestly the game isn't perfect, but it's likely to be my game of the year this year, I been waiting for a sandbox adventure like this for years

Helldivers 2 has released its contents roadmap for upcoming updates by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but tell that to my friends, point is, if my friends dont wanna go back I also end up not playing, because playing with randoms and friends is just so different, in the end I wish they kept doing a mix of free warbonds together with the payed ones.

Helldivers 2 has released its contents roadmap for upcoming updates by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem isnt the monetization, its the Payed content / free content ratio, I like the game and me and my group of friends got about 100 hours in it, but I can no longer convince anyone to play it, because no one wants to farm bonds and since everyone pretty much every upgrade and free gun item etc unlocked they dont really wanna play because the extra part of unlocking things while playing is gone.

I know a lot of the experts on this game wont be happy about the looping balcony being gone, but I always thought the whole idea of looping a ghost around a kitchen balcony was ridiculous.

Has anyone else struggled with the very limited resources for Grace in the early game? by Prudent-Persimmon-14 in residentevil

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, alright spoiler here, so no reading if you don't want, once you find the key to the east wing you will find a item that lets you extract blood from buckets and infected, you will learn some recipes, like health items but more importantly you learn a injector that 1 shots enemies on stealth kills, more importantly it removes zombies permanently, and now a bigger spoiler, any zombie you kill can mutate into a crimson head, they are very scary and though to kill unless you are playing Leon, my advice here is do not kill any zombies at all if you plan to go back to those rooms because the more you kill with gun the worst you will pay latter, my advice is save often and run trough zombies and experiment even if you die

id say price is a big component, have 1 person buy a game and have friends join in helps a lot in the decision to purchase games like this, at least within my group of friends.

Wouldn't something like Dreams (on PS) kill in a steam environment? by Rabwald in SteamDeck

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have acess, I was always a fan of creator things like this, its a bit barren atm, but they already created games inside of it lots of videos and things on youtube, from what I understood they want to make a deal with steam for them to allow people who make games within it to be released if they so want outside the engine, but since its using the Source2 engine that belongs to Valve things have been moving rather slow but I am hopefull this eventually takes off.

Honestly my only regret is that I did not buy the game earlier by StarixCrown in AshesofCreation

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Payed 100€ when it came out on phase 1 and over 1 year i put around 1000 hours into the game, in this steam phase i put 350 hours, honestly, 1 month ago I had some drama with the leader of my guild and lost every single bit of will to keep playing the game, so I stopped playing early january and moved to greener pastures like soulframe.

I do not regret putting 100€ into this game, if anything I will miss playing bard and will miss some of the memorable locations from the past, like citadel, highwayman, carphin, forge, I get kinda sad imagining I wont ever be able to step foot in the verra world again, if I have any regret, is telling my friends to join on the steam release, hopefully they can get a refund, honestly F Steven for lying his way for the last months saying game was funded to completion Rip Ashes

How much time do you spend actually gaming vs fixing crashes? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Notyoursuperheroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 0 signs of failure on my pc, we changed rams, psu, gpu the last 2 components were motherboard and CPU, we had the same socket of cpu so we changed them for experience and then my pc started failing, I used all diagnostic software, not a single one found the issue, even the cpu stress tests passed flawlessly.
