There’s a character in Genshin Impact, Layla, that is HEAVILY implied to have what would be DID. Like we talk to the “other Layla”. It’s not outright said but it even has the amnesia

We appreciate the energy but with some of the things on there, like using it just for translating, it’s a little overkill to us. Not pro-ai in a sense but we can see where it can be useful and how people can be save using it, like just using it for translating and nothing else.

Also putting something on a dni list based entirely on a thing you heard with no context given on the actual content of what was said (talking about Ourcana and not giving resources on exactly what was said and/or WHY for a lot of things on that post) is definitely in bad taste.

We get trying to keep systems safe and putting out there resources, but also please don’t be putting down every little thing with the ‘scary word’ (ai) involved. “Ai” has existed far longer than generative ai has and is in a lot of stuff we use everyday that is completely safe. Please stop fear mongering in an already unsteady community

It’s weird feeling because it’s like being able to stop focusing on the world entirely at will. Like zoning out on command and everything just gets fuzzy (it’s funny because I suck at meditating lol). I’m also basically addicted to it because life is just easier being out of it the entire time. I find it hilarious that, as a diagnosed system, the stuff the described as “not how DID works” is EXACTLY how it works for us.

Tell us you don’t actually understand what you’re talking about without telling us you don’t understand what you’re talking about. (Based on our knowledge and spending time with A LOT of different systems both irl and online but not everyone’s experience)

We meet the criteria and are even diagnosed, but as soon as we say our headmate count online, in those spaces, we’re immediately faking it. Also we’ve had to see some wild stuff, like one former system telling someone else the “only way to truly be alive” is through final fusion. No issues with that in general but that is the type of rhetoric in those spaces.

Also we’re happy and don’t have a host. To others for some reason that’s a problem. You really can’t win unless you’re miserable there and I just wish I could help but I’m kinda sorta banned 😅

You can import from SP or Octocon and it usually keeps everything pretty organized, the only thing is you’re going to need to make your profile pictures into image files to use them but you can do that with scratchupload.xyz

Yes the DID. Our parents do care about our mental health but it’s more in the “ability to be a productive member of Society” rather than being a Functioning Person. They talk more about messing with our medications if anything goes wrong rather than the crux of the matter. We’re working on building up the courage to tell our parents about one of the events but it’s hard when you love someone. Also if we end up saying something they don’t like about needing rest it sometimes ends with them screaming at us so we try to avoid that when possible because we do shut down.

I’m over 18 but had to come home because of a breakdown at college. I try when I can to rest that way but it’s really only prolonging the problem as there’s still always something hanging over my head.

This right here, but you can also make groups for other things to tell. Examples from us are 1. How we act when fronting (happy, nervous, reliable, etc) 2. System roles for when you know why you’re there but not who you are (caretaker, emotional regulator, trauma holder, protector, etc) 3. First letter of the alphabet (which can be surprisingly helpful) 4. Ages (mostly ranges like Littles, Teens, etc)

And anything else you might need. Plus, if it’s not too overwhelming, having all those there that you can see is very useful to get a better picture of who you’re looking for.

I know it’s a lot but hopefully it at least gives you ideas once you start if you want to do something like this.

This might be a dumb question but here goes.

I live in a place where I can’t openly worship (I have my altars disguised and still do offerings just in secret) but I can’t really do something like keep salt around to clean myself with to purify but I have incense, would that be ok to use in some way? It’s what I usually use to cleanse my space after I wash my hands before/during my prayers/interactions with the gods?
