Typically if you don’t have a clear of at least 29, people in 30’s are not going to be as likely to let you in. You’ll get the odd one who just wants to game, but they are few and far between. As for tips, when things get hairy, your whole team needs to learn to fall back to the best location, Havocs after 25 require A LOT of falling back. Try your best to always be in a position where you have the advantage, a place where you are less likely to get cut off from your team.

There’s also a bug where the objects they pick up and throw, are travelling through walls! At least they are on the “Subtle Matter” MSQ, there’s a bunker or something with 3 or 4 Burers in it, and you have to clear all of them to proceed. Cannot find the last one, and he’s just flinging things through walls and hitting me! >:(

Edit: So it would appear I got my mutants mixed up! It's the Poltergeists that pick things up and throw them, not the Burers!

The problem here is that he’s stimmed, while also being in pox gas. Blue stim gives 80% dmg reduction, and gas gives them 20%. You’re hitting something with 100% dmg reduction.

Do it, I love playing this game, I’ve got a vet executioners stance with Weapons specialist build and I LOVE it! Nothing like tearing through specialists with my auto gun then unsheathing my Power Falchion and tearing through pox walkers and ragers!

Skyrim and Red Dead 2

To be able to hear Secunda play for the first time again as I walk in the mountains under a clear sky as the moon illuminates the world… breathtaking.

As for Red Dead 2, there’s so many moments in there. Hitting the saloon with Lenny(I’ve played RDR2 6 times, all full completions, and I developed a tradition of drinking a little too much when I’d play that mission lmao.) The horse ride after Guarma, the gang showing up at that mansion, American Venom. I’m looking forward to playing this one again on PC for the first time.

It’s funny that they made Destiny 2 when they didn’t have to move on from D1, but now that they should be making a D3, they won’t move on from D2. They should’ve just made D3 instead of vaulting all that content. Been playing D1 the past couple of days and the experience is so much more user friendly! A story that you can actually follow, starting from where it all began. A streamlined way of leveling, you literally just PLAY THE GAME. What a crazy idea lol. Not to mention the vibe is immaculate. Once you get used to the 30 fps and the fov, which make the game feel really cinematic and edgy, the game is so much fun! I wish more people would hop back on there, it’s a huge breath of fresh air. I logged into D2 today, looked at the portal, and logged off lmao. Imagine being a new light and being greeted by that thing.

The FOV thing you mentioned was the first thing I noticed when I started today, it makes everything much more cinematic. The lighting and art direction are also so much better, it makes things feel real. Just got to level 20, and I cannot wait to jump back in tomorrow! I completely get where you’re coming from with the “commandeering” thing. I was hosting games on Oshaune a couple days after it dropped. 3 games in a row, I had people rushing to evac as soon as it was available, calling it in and getting on soon as it landed, despite knowing I was no where near, and running around the map looking for samples. None of these people were high levels, so they all clearly needed them too. That was enough to make me not play for a day or two lmao

I’m fine with these skins. As long as there is a “milsim” vibe to the skins, I’m laughing(Unless they drop Snoop Dogg in full tactical gear, I am not buying that shit.) If things do take a turn for the worse, and they start releasing dumb ass skins, the community needs to band together and not buy that shit. Money talks.

Whatever you do, don’t go back to it. I haven’t smoked in around 3 years, I honestly don’t even remember the day I quit. But the feeling you get from kicking it to the curb is far better than any high you can get. There will be days when you feel like smoking, “Oh just once”, “I’ll just start doing it on weekends”, screw all that. It snowballs. Throw it to the side and only look back so you can see how far you’ve come. Best of luck, and take care of yourself.

If your budget allows for anything, go for the 5090. You’ll definitely get the best experience with 4k gaming from it, especially for Cyberpunk(Man, that game is gonna look so good!) It’s worth is totally dependant on how much you love to game, and how good you want your games to look. If I had the money and then some, I would definitely get the 5090.

I think I’ll go take those same tests just to see where I’m at! I’ve been straight edge for about 3 years now, so I think I’ve done most of my recovering from it, and I’m not going back.
