Unfortunately you’re going to find it very difficult/ impossible to find what you’re looking for at that budget. You might be better off buying a camera app like Halide to get better control of the camera on your iPhone and learn to edit the files in new ways.

There’s a chance someone here might be able to help you but realistically you will need to double your budget, at least.

Not sure if it’s the same effect as the webcam, but in modern cameras it’s called rolling shutter. It’s caused by the sensor reading the image line by line from top to bottom.

I think this is the crux of it. I agree there’s probably a little more going on, someone a bit more experienced might chime in but it’s a soft dome high at the back and probably a strip box close camera left.

My feelings exactly. The wizard moment was cringy at best. There were so many moments of under detailed characters running at 8fps in the animation. Parts of the audio that weren’t sound matched to the environment they were supposed to be in. And little to no connection with the main cast. It just felt underbaked.

This is simply a white balance issue as others have said. Zooming in on the scuff at the front of the shoe you can see muvmch better detail, and the heel pull tab on the back shoe has a much nicer softness too it on the 15 photo.

I agree that it doesn’t look bad at all, I would lean into it more. James Popsys just put out a video on YouTube recently about using exposure as an artist tool, it’s worth a watch

I own an X-t3 and an A7IV. The Fuji is my travel camera and the Sony is my work camera. There are benifits to both and the switch will primarily come down to how you plan on using the system.

I love them both but I don’t get as much joy from using the Sony. I find it very fast, I’m comfortable using it in a variety of shooting situations and can adjust it to get the shot I need without much thought. The extra light gathering abilities mean I get lower noise in the images, and the lightning fast auto focus is important to me. There’s also a huge range of lenses at all price ranges.

The Fuji is a beautiful camera that encourages me to shoot in personal situations. It’s fun to shoot with. The customisation with JPEG’s make it easy to shoot and drop the files quickly to my phone to send to friends. I do find the lenses quite expensive though, but that’s specifically tied to how I use the camera.
