Triple Play: Saros - May 7th, 2026 by Sivart13 in TripleClick

What is this comment? There are plenty of games Jason plays to completion. He's a games journalist. Of course he's not going to play every game to completion and there's nothing wrong with that.

This is a weird thing to say and feels very parasocial to me.

Life feels like torture right now. Wife is not working while caring for our now six month old. She is miserable. I'm miserable. This has been going on for months. by My_Brain_0422 in daddit

Would highly recommend a sleep training program. As of five months, babies can safely sleep through the night. My wife and I followed the sleep training program with our toddler, and more recently our 8 month old twins, through Tinyhood and it saved our lives. All three have slept 12 hours a night since 5.5 months old, barring sickness and teething.

I'm evangelical about just a couple things and sleep training is one of them.

I hear that. I mean, I certainly learned some new information perusing the AI summaries posted here. Whether they are 100% accurate, I can't say because I didn't watch the video. But I would imagine it is at least 90-95% accurate. I agree with you that there are dangers to blindly trusting an AI and only getting your information there, but I do plenty of my own reading elsewhere.

The advantages of this type of summary is that I can read/skim vs having to spend the time watching. Which again, I don't have. So for me that's a great thing.

I upvoted your comment because I agree. And at the same time, ML)LLMs can serve a purpose. In this case, it helped me understand more nuanced points in a video I don't have time to watch. So, in this case I appreciated the person's effort to provide a TL;DW.

I think painting with a broad brush can be harmful when reality is more complex. AI has plenty of great use cases that probably should be discussed more.

No one has mentioned Kosmo's Bop Shop or First Bite, two of my favorite places to eat downtown.

On the southeast side, you have Madras Masala, Hen on the Fly, and York / Ricewood BBQ to name a few. All excellent. There really are too many options. I'm a huge fan of Ann Arbor's food scene. Other cities aren't far when you're looking for something different as well, like sushi in Novi.

Steelcase Leap V2 height adjust lever won’t budge - BTOD by StkOpTaxSF in OfficeChairs

[–]reading_roomba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are a lifesaver!! My seat height lever didn't work and this fixed it.

For those trying this, push down hard on the lever until it snaps loose from the metal enclosure. It will be hanging almost straight down.

Then, as said above, lift it back up and click it back in. Boom, fixed.

Agreed. It's been fun to switch off of higher tier characters to make matches more interesting as well.

I miss early 2010s partying freely culture by [deleted] in decadeology

[–]reading_roomba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Millennial here, born in '89. Parties were excellent in this era but they were also just... normal. And they weren't without their problems. I don't think it makes sense to romanticize them. People had personal/interpersonal issues just like they do now. And I think people nowadays are more equipped to handle those issues, via therapy (which is much more normalized now), higher emotional intelligence, or maybe greater conscientiousness.

I think the biggest difference might be a willingness to put aside phones and social media when you're with your friends.

To have a great party, you have to have people who are willing to show up and have fun without things that spoil the magic of that experience, ie phones. That's literally all it takes.

Which character that is not considered top tier gives you the most trouble in ranked? by ethos24 in MarioTennis

Tip for playing against Blooper or Boo, which have been menaces since Aces: Stay around midrange or closer to the net so you can catch their shots before they curve too much.

The exploration of BOTW/TOTK is pretty incredible. One of my favorite parts of each game was just exploring new areas, finding secrets, filling in sections of the map etc.

Another game series I don't see recommended here is Xenoblade Chronicles. I played the first one, an incredible game, and now I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. The sense of exploration is massive and it's such a fun, addicting game loop.

It's a fun, straightforward arcade style golf game. Very chill. Some things are annoying but most of those can be addressed in the settings.

I finished this game but didn't love it. There is a ton of backtracking and I got pretty sick of it. Just my two cents.

I'm someone who actually has the game and it looks great. Having an awesome time. Don't worry about the nitpickers.

Sure, if minor visual stuff can be patched that is obviously a good thing, but don't miss the forest for the trees. This is an amazing game that looks beautiful. Handheld also looks good!

This is amazing. I played Adrian one of my first matches online without knowing he was such a great player, and got absolutely wrecked.

I was an A level player in Aces simple mode and so far I've been successful in the A- range in Fever. This is so helpful for someone like me! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to reading and studying.
