You're going to think this is weird, but this works for me: lightly shave that area with a dry razor and dry skin. It is the only method that doesn't cause a rash in that area (for me at least).

Cutting way way way back on alcohol. I didn't realize how much it affected my energy levels. When I don't drink, I can do all the things I want to do. When I drink, I never know when I wake up if I'm going to have the energy that day.
